A picture is worth a thousand words.....

So everybody advertises using a picture of themselves. Well, as far as we know, it is who they say it is. I'm really curious to know if seeing someone's face makes you more apt to join something. Does it? I was a member of a "social" traffic exchange that you could comment on sites people were advertising. I kept getting the same comment about not having a picture! Nobody made any comment about what I was advertising, just that I didn't have my face on the page as well! Needless to say, I quit using the site. Personally, anybody could use any picture and claim it to be themselves. Does it really matter? Do you look at the face and think, "They've got a nice face. It must be a legit program."???? I prefer to keep at least a little privacy in that regard. I mean....everything else about me is already out there. Do I really need to put my face too?

Well, when i see a picture i may have a good feeling and writing some comments. If there is no picture in there, i have no idea about that person who i wanna give a comment and for sure, i may not give a comment also....

I guess it helps people to feel more comfortable buying something from someone or signing up for something when they can see what the person looks like. I think maybe I would not feel comfortable buying something or signing up for something from someone I don't know and don't know what they look like, then again I wouldn't buy something or sign up for something just because of what someone looks like.

A picture of the person who created a product does seem to give it a more personal touch. You see someone just like you created or uses the item and it makes you more likely to buy it.
