How do you manage your body hair?

Some people don't like to have hair on their arms and legs specially women, some are proud that they are hairy. I'm slight hairy in my arms and in my legs but it is soft and not noticeable. I also shave what's in my armpit from time to time. When i'm still young I have some little mustache but luckily it disappeared when I'm growing old. I have a friend that spend her penny just to get rid of her hair all over her body and went to the dermatologist to have it done. How about you?

Oh. I think that's a bit pricy just for getting rid off of those hair, but anyway, it's good for your friend. Me? I just shave it from time to time. I shave it if I am in a hurry and I pluck it if I have a lot of time. :) Luckily, I haven't got any obvious hair on my arms nor in my legs. For my eyebrow, I just pluck it to remove the excess and to maintain the shape that I made. ;) Does it hurt if you'll remove those hair through a dermatologist? Does anyone here experience waxing? I think it really do hurts. :(

I think it is really hurt but seems good enough for a month not having hair.

hi fatlex, Actually if you have a low pain tolerance I wouldn't recommend you the waxing it really hurts but since I don't know how to pluck I don't have a choice I don't like shaving too because I got a chicken skin every time I shave. About the price average it depends where? happy mylotting

I also have chicken skin on my armpits before, because I kept on plucking it. But now it's gone. :D It's not really good to have those specially that I'm a girl. :D

I shave. I do not pluck or wax. I shave because it is easier for me, and it is more of a time saver than having to go to those waxing places. Also, I heard that waxing and plucking hurt a lot. I have a lot of hair to manage, but I am able to manage it as much as I can.

i pluck my eyebrows too... waxing does not hurt. Well, maybe on the first time it will hurt.. especially if there's lots of hair to be removed. But it doesn't after you get used to it. And it only takes a minute or less. Plucking hurts a lot!

I am so proud to have my body hair in the right places of my body.It enhances your features as very manly and masculine, even if I do not wanted my other hair formations it just help my looks.I have also altered some of my body hair, yet it just go back where it is and it is much more thicker than before.I still appreciates how I look with my body hair.

You are correct there friend and I do not altered anything so that it would not grow thicker. When you tried to plucked your hair in the armpit, make sure you do not wash it till tomorrow to avoid irritating the area.If you accidentally wash it,you could get a painful lump the next day. That is also experienced when trying to plucked your hair in your foot and toes. The best way is just shave it to avoid pulling off when you wore your sleepers and shoes.Girls really needed to plucked their hair in the armpit to make them become more sexy,as long as when they plucked it put immediately some ashes on it so that the hair would not come back again, and the vacant skin pore would just not get infected, that it would help heal immediately just do not wash it.

I use those wax strips. I used to use those Neet and Nair lotions, but it grew back fast anyway and even though it is now white in some places, it still is dark enough to show. I cannot afford electrolysis and was thinking of getting one of those No nos but that costs quite a bit of money. It does get annoying. Do not mind the moustache because it is not that noticeable unless you have a magnifying mirror, but it is those hairs in my chin that are so annoying. Yes I have fair skin and had dark hair when I was young.

I bought an inexpensive device to do the electrolysis at home myself when I was 30-something and that took care of most of it. What I didn't do with that now I use an epilator. Where I live it is not acceptable for women of any age to have that kind of hair. Some people don't bother, but they stand out, and I personally do not like to send up that kind of red flag.

I also heard from my friend that happened to have a vacation here when I saw her shave her legs. She just told me that where she lives now having hair is not that accepted.

My hair doesn't grow that fast, before I could shave once a month and even then it looked like I shaved a few days before. I changed birth control and now I grow like no tomorrow. During the winter I get lazy and barely shave my legs (it keeps you warm in -50C weather unless Im going somewhere). I do shave my under arms regular but have no time to do my arms. But its very light cloured. My roomate was Italian and she had dark daark hair and would spent so much on shaving.

I go for regular threading of the eyebrows and the little hair I have on my face. It is a little painful but I've got used to it and try to go to places that do it quickly enough..so that the pain lasts for only 5-10 minutes. I also get waxing done on my arms, legs and armpits. It doesn't grow back very quickly and also not as dark. But I don't do it as regularly as I did before since I am very busy.If I am in a hurry, I shave.

I have soft fine hair also , I shave my entire body , some times I used Nair . I also get my eye brows shaved or wax . I was thinking of starting to get wax since it would last longer than shaving but it sounds so painful , especially Brazilian wax .

I don't struggle all that much with my body hair, but I do still like to make sure that I am keeping on top of it so that it never becomes noticeable. I have tried to wax in the past but I can't cope with the pain so I don't think that it is something that I would be thinking about trying in the future. I have tried shaving and I will admit that it works well enough for me so I don't think that I will be needing to do anything else. I would like to try laser hair removal, but that is quite expensive so I am going to have to save up for it before I am able to afford all of the treatments that I would need to make sure that the hair would never be returning back.

I get rid of my unwanted hair by shaving them. Bur for my eyebrows, I pluck them myself. Some would prefer to have threading done in salons. I do not feel comfortable with it coz it seems painful. And I am already used to doing the plucking by myself.

When I was younger, I used to envy hairy ladies... coz for me they looked so attractive. Until the time when smooth skin without body hairs becomes the trend. Slowly I have grown to like and thanked God that I am not hairy as I won't have any problem with shaving. But only the armpits. I used to shaved it but then for two months I have tried going to a salon and have it waxed. I don't have a mustache before, but now I'm wondering how come it's visible... I feel like transforming into a guy

I don't feel any problem with the hairs on my body but still I just used to clean those long hairs. It keeps me pretty healthy. I just used to cut them only if they are long.

When necessary I will pluck but it hurts a lot and makes me sneeze everytime I do it for some reason. Generally I more so shave and I find that as I get older, it doesn't stay smoothe for long at all! Even the next day I can feel a bit of stubble, it's annoying.

They hair on my legs does not grow anymore, the hair on my arms is completely gone. I have a mustache and hair on my chin and neck, I shave that but it will eventually go away due to the medication that I take for diabetes.

I don't shave hair on legs and arms because it's just tiny it's not so much visible. I just shave hairs on my armpits whenever I plan to wear sleeveless shirts ir shirts that has short sleeves. Sometimes when I feel like shaving down there, I shave it too.

I shave my arm pits every other day and I'll shave my legs about once or twice a month. As for my arms, I don't shave them because it's so light that it's hardly able to be seen. I get some hairs on my chin in which I pluck with a pair of twizzers and I do the same with my eye brows so they aren't bushy

I am like you--soft and not noticeable. lol My daughter has an olive complexion and some hair on her lip and at her temple she doesn't like. She and I both have thick, long hair nearly to our rears. I have a nine year old grandson who is starting with some peach fuzz on his legs. So cute. Nope. For the most part we don't have much hair we don't want.
