After dinner my husband and son went to Starbucks to get me my favorite seasonal drink that I get from there the pumpkin spice latte. I so love this drink. I told son and husband it would really cheer me up if I could have me my Starbucks drink being that I am not feeling well right now and it would feel good on my throat because it is a hot drink.

That is so sweet of them sounds like something my husband and kids would do for me from time to time. Hope your throat starts to feel better really soon. Hugs for a speedy recovery.

There are so many home remedies for the throat, but the family loving is probably the best relief. It sure helps to be catered to a little. Moms are so often the ones who do all the caring.

GardenGerty you are so right there are so many home remedies out there for the throat. You are right us moms are always taking care of everyone else it sure feels good to get catered to a little.

I love the Starbucks seasonal drinks. My favorite is gingerbread latte. I don't think I've ever had pumpkin spice from starbucks so I don't really know what it tastes like. But my mom did get me the k-cups for Keurig and they're a pumpkin spice flavor and to me it tastes pretty good.

I did not like the gingerbread one it may have just been the person that made it but to me the gingerbread was to strong.I think if you like the Keurig pumpkin spice you will like the Starbucks one.

Maybe the person who made it put in too much of the gingerbread syrup flavoring. Whenever I get it it has just a touch of gingerbread flavor and a little bit of cinnamon from being sprinkled on top of the whipped cream. I also have a gingerbread flavor for the Keurig and that and pumpkin spice were my favorites on chilly days. I'm looking forward to a change in weather so I can bring out those yummy flavors again.

Last year I saw some recipes to make this at home, but I never tried it. The spices should also be soothing on your throat.

I have a couple of recipes for this one both from different sites. The newest one I found is made in a crock pot it looks really good. Yeah the spices did help for my throat so did the hotness of the drink.

Oh my goodness, I absolutely love Starbucks, but it has been a while since I've had one because of the cost of them. Instead, I've been trying to substitute my Starbucks addiction with McCafe from McDonalds. The reason that I've been drinking a lot of McCafe drinks is because of the fact that I got a bunch of buy one get one free coupons and I can usually get either my mother or my little sister to go in halves with me and we both end up saving a lot of money. I will actually be getting on tomorrow because my niece's birthday party is tomorrow at McDonalds.

I actually have found some copy cat recipes for some of my favorite recipes at Starbucks I can't wait to try them out.I have tried the McDonald's ones and only liked one of them they make theirs to strong for me. Enjoy your drink at your niece'e birthday party.

You are right we are all taking care of each other. I told my son to stay clear of all of us sick ones because he does not need to get sick. So after making dinner and going to Starbucks to get me my drink he went to his room to play his video game.

Do.'t we all love Starbucks?! We always go to Starbucks to grab our favorite coffee and have thoar deliciuos cookies and cakes after the whole family had dinner. it has been our favorite family hang out.

I know my family likes Starbucks sometimes me and my daughter go there together and have a mother daughter time together and sometimes it is me and my husband. My daughter likes the birthday pops/ cake pops from there and I also like the pumpkin bread from there for a special treat to go along with my drink.
