My pizza delivery comes destroyed!

I rarely order pizza for delivery. When I do I order from the only place near us with decent pizza. I don't want Dominoes or Papa Johns so I order from a restaurant. I order the large pie and it gets here smelling delicious. I open up the box and all the cheese is on one side! What is wrong with the pizza? Is it the delivery boys driving or is the cheese just so hot it melts that way? I would love to tell the restaurant but how could they fix it if they dont know whats wrong?

here in my city they have recently started a pizza centre with home delivery facility, but minimum order is 250 rupees, delivery with in one hour, recently guests came, so i phoned them, even after waiting for 3 hours none came nor responded to phone calls.. lastly my wife cooked for them.. Bhuwan

WOW,i think that is really unacceptable.I really think you should complain about that.One time my pizza came with 6 slices instead of the 10 I ordered.Weird right? I rarely order pizza to my home anymore,now days I just eat out with the family. I'm just not satisfied with pizza hut or dominoes.

I think you already have called up the restaurant and ask why their pizza appears like that.You did not expect the pizza delivered was badly made.They really have to inspect the appearance and quality of their product before they call the delivery to deliver the merchandize to the customer.It appears to me that the process in making the pizza is perfect,that is due to the aroma of the pizza you just smelled when it reach you,so the mistake is in the part of the delivery,that he did not handle it well in route of your address.

Pizza - Pizza is enjoyable if not messed up.
I don't think I could enjoy eating a messed-up pizza. Obviously the delivery boy did not handle the pizza well enough to keep it in good condition. How can they fix it. Well it's their problem dear. Just do the needful. You can always call the restaurant to complain so that they could deliver a new pizza to you. If they did not do that, that will affect their image. Good restaurants are concerned about the complaints of their customers so if you ordered from good restaurant then I am sure they would be glad to fix the problem. I think this serves as a good lesson to us. Before letting the delivery boy go, we should first check if what we got is in good condition. If not we have the right to reject and not pay at all. I'm sure you did not order a one-sided pizza so you can always return and ask for replacement.

I am so sorry to hear this. I hope you called like everyone else suggested even if they did not do nothing at least they know about the problem so it don't happen again. I hope the pizza was still good if you decided to eat it.

Restaurants are responsible to make sure that their delivered food is fresh, warm and fast. Anything that is amiss, including the service and attitude of their delivery personnel must be called to their attention. You will not only get your money's worth and exercise your right as a paying customer but in doing so will also do them a favor to improve their service.

You should tell them, it doesn't matter who's at fault, you have paid for something that your not happy with. If you order from them again you should check the pizza before paying, then if your not happy tell them.
