A question about masons

No. There are no 'levels'. There is a system of degrees and the highest (3rd) is Master Mason. Some lodges (whose minimum requirement for membership is Master Mason) have a system of 32 degrees with a final, honorary, 33rd degree. The name 'Lucifer' means 'Bearer of Light'. It may have been a name given to the morning star (Venus) as a presager of dawn. It is only confused Judaeo-Christian mythology and later popular literature which has associated the name with Satan. The epithet which is translated as 'lucifer' in the King James version, appears only once in the Old Testament in connection with a king of Babylon.

This is an interesting thread, but I'm afraid I just don't know what to think of the organization, the Masons. As I have heard both sides.. that they are a dark organization of satan worshipers and are conspiring for world domination (which I believe is a spiritual conspiracy, tho if persons are involved I know not who, but there sure is a move on for a world governing in some circles from time to time), and I have heard they were (are?) merely Godly men of which George Washington and many of the other U.S. founders were members of, and they sure did seem to have their share of wisdom, as the U.S. constitution is a great guard against tyranny, and a promoter of liberty. Which I can't see a satanic organization doing.. though they certainly could have been infiltrated and taken over, which btw is exactly what satan&co often do!

i heard it was 360 degrees. i heard alot about masons and that they worship the devil.
