Some people have meanings to every shades of roses. Like, white rose means purity. There other variety of colors: pink, light pink, dark pink, yellow, light yellow, dark yellow, cream, lavander, purple, pusha, dark pink, light pink, etc. Can we still give meaning for each shades? In addition, there are adjectives attached the base form of rose: butter cup rose, wild rose, floral bunda rose, etc. Another set, the name of countries plus the root word rose: American rose, French rose, Dutch rose, etc. Oops! I don't need to go further with roses. All I know, women will be so grateful to received a bunch of roses, especially from their special person. I still have a very distinct color. How about the black rose? What does it mean? I haven't seen one of this. Where can we find black roses?

Roses are beautiful as are many flowers. I love getting flowers as a gift but its been many years. I think the last time that I got flowers was from my father when my baby girl was born 8 years ago. I think black roses are given to someone to show that you hate them honestly. I remember they had faux black roses at spensers once that you could buy and send someone and it had some kind of message attached to it.

Oh I love rose whatever color it may be except if it be black. But I've never really seen a black rose. I believe there is no such color of rose anyway. Black rose? I don't even think I would ever love a black rose. In the first place, I've never really liked black color. It depicts sadness so never do I really appreciate anything black. Just imagine if the roses in your garden are bearing black colors. That would give my garden a very gloomy atmosphere.

Hi Shavkat, roses are fascinating and therefore people like to compare beautiful women as roses. Their fragrance is unique and attractive. I haven't seen authentic black roses before. May be it's difficult to grow. So it's rare and must be very expensive to get 
Anyway don't forget roses have thorns and have to be very careful of them or handsome women like roses, when approaching. If not one might be easily hurt by the tiny keen-edged thorns

I know some meanings of the roses in different colors. Such as the red rose stands for the love, the yellow rose stands for the myth or friendship etc. As to the natural black rose, it is not available. In the nature there is no such kind of color for flower. Because the black will gain more heat from the sun and it is easy to burn the plant. The black roses are man-made as well as the blue roses.

Did you know that yellow roses mean " I dont like you"? So be careful.....

I also know that pink is for friendship, yellow is loyalty, blue is for faithfulness and honesty, and lavender is for a faithful friend-- at least over here. The ribbons you put with them in bouquets usually have the same meanings attached to them.
