It will go on for the next four days and I'll be buying it on Tuesday. Only $25.00 for the device I need and I think that is a great deal for it. I hardly have connectivity on my tablet, and I get sick of it. With the stick I can get the coverage I need and be able to do what I need with it. I've decided I am goign to save up for a laptop but I'm going to go about it kind of in an odd way, which is to save up amazon gc's as I get them and get it eventually with the GC's. I know one person here has the Clear.com stick and had great customer service with them, and so I am going to go with the same. It will be for my tablet, but they seem to have the stick I need and I'll talk to them personally before ordering it. This is a Christms present to myself, Do you buy for yourself for the holidays?

Sounds great and would sound better if I really knew what you were talking about.I can only hazard a guess but you know that I am so last century with technology. However, I am returning home with a lap top. They were on sale out here in London and so I bought a Toshiba satellite and I adore it. I just closed my eyes and put it on my credit card. My laptop at home is broken and the price to repair it just makes it not worthwhile and the price of new ones in Jamaica is so high. Ths is why I bought one and it is fully loaded. I just can'timagine being home and not having a computer. So yes, this is an early Christmas present to myself and I am happy with my gift

Merry Christmas Cynthiann. You will be glad you did it. I hope there is not a lot of taxes for bringing it in. Basically you can get something that looks like a usb stick and use it to get internet for your laptop. Clear.com is the company she will use. I have a similar service with another company. If they had clear.com where I live I would do it as well.

Pretty much yes, if we want something for ourselves we get it. Or we talk about it and get it together. Like last year we got an outdoor fireplace in October, for our Christmas to ourselves. I do not have clear.com available in my area at this time or I would go for it, I think. I am going to start working some evenings at my ob and there is a lot of down time, but all the wifi is secured in that area, nothing accessible. I have a stick for the 3G Virgin mobile and I may see about going to the 4G so I can do more in the evenings. Do you use swagbucks for your Amazon?

I haven't bought for myself in quite awhile, but intend to do so this year. Santa hasn't been very generous as he was unemployed.

I'm not familiar with Clear.com, but that does seem to be a good idea--and a decent price. With the boost it will give you in terms of internet access, it should pay for itself fairly quickly. I think that it is a good plan, as well, to save up gift cards in order to pay for a laptop. That will take a little while, but that is a much better plan than taking the cash out of pocket or (even worse) using a credit card to buy it.

Good idea that is how i got my nook tablet. I do surveys for HP and they send out customer appreciation gift cards for amazon. I got the Nook and now I'm back up $105.000 and im looking for a new laptop too.

No. I have a hard enough time buying for other people. And I don't want to put anything on my credit card that would take months to pay off. Of course taking out a loan is off the table too. So if I want to reward myself, I think the best way is Coca-Cola. Yeah, I'll get myself a 12 pack of Coke for Christmas.

Good day SomeCowgirl, Before I used to buy a christmas gift for myself. To give myself a reward after 11 months of hard work. But now, I am not sure if I can since I am not getting a high paid salary from the job that I am doing. Wish that there are some fairy's that can give me gifts this holiday season.

Ive seen that on TV, but dont think its available for us. I hear dtablets, and those devices tend not to have decent coverage. I know some who love it, but I can abrely pick up wireless internet let alone wifi. I ended up getting the Virgin Mobile stick which has been hell and back. I found out I have to $35.00 a month end of story for 1Gb of internet (its not pay as you go), yet it doesnt even work yet.
