Gambling

I heard an interesting discussion on the radio today. The announcers were having a discussion over gambling. One of the announcers was upset that people would go to casinos, but only to watch other people gamble. He couldn't understand why someone would go to a casino only to watch other people gamble. He thought it would be boring to do that. The other announcer said that some people don't like to waste their money on gambling, but they have fun watching other people do it. What do you think? Do you think gambling is wasting money? Do you like to gamble or are you content just watching other people gamble? Do you stay away from casinos/gambling altogether?

I get really bored easily. I am not a watcher. If there is something going on I want to be part of it. I like to gamble every so often, used to play poker all the time, just nickle, dime, quarter, and just as something social to do with friends. I think there is a point where gambling is a waste of money, I like playing black jack but I won't spend more than $5.00 a hand, anything over that I feel is a waste of money. I don't think it is a good thing to do to spend $10 a minute and not even buy anything, only possibly win something, too much to risk in my opinion.

You never know. If I break even, I'm happy.

I think I am more a watcher. I like watching people play cards and such. The only thing I like to do at casinos are the slot machines, but that can get boring after a while. I do enjoy playing blackjack, but I wouldn't play for money, because I know I would lose it all!

I have never been to a casino. PEOPLE GET ADDICTED TO GAMBLING & LOSE EVERYTHING THEY HAVE, No way i would do that.I wouldn't mind going sometime if i had money to throw away but i don't. There are no casinoes where i live anyway.

Gambling can be very dangerous. I have a gambling addiction in my family, so I've always been wary of it. I will only go in with a few dollars and stop myself when that money is gone. Some people really get addicted to the excitement. For me, it's just not that exciting.

I think it really depends on person. I am kind of afraid that I might get addicted to it, when i would try it and I would win with the first try. But for the people who can gamble without getting addicted, I would say, let them gamble.

I think you're right. Some people are really prone to addiction. I think they really need to be careful. But, it can be a fun activity for others. I am not really a big gambler, but I like to play the slot machines every once in a while.

i think if we going gamble in casino with just having fun, maybe lost some money is not problem. but if we going casino with the fastest way make money ,if we lost maybe we upset and want that money back.but most of people go in casino want they can bring some money in the casino.
