I never leave my work for tomorrow, if i can do it today, my friend. Doing that would surely compromise my job. I am a person who would rather do all what i have to do first, so i can already relax after that.

It is a very good practice and not many are able to that. I am somewhere in between, working when I feel like and when in the mood I get all my work attended to and some days I just sit through them feeling lazy to do anything at all...

You always ask too many questions... Wait... I am quite lazy today and need to postpone the responses to all of your questions until tomorrow...

okay! Here is how I postpone - When I am ill I dont open the computer for work. No emails no assignments - if I can I play games, be online at Mylot and that is all... so the work piles on. How to I handle the piled on work - I am a workaholic and even today when I am ill most of the time there are days when I can work 20 hours a day (like the past few days and even right now it is 3:30 am Indian Time) and I am busy with work. About what types of work I postpone - normally aside the professional things, I always postpone washing clothes - I pile up everything to make sunday a busy day. Then when I have been away from professional work and there is loads of it piled up, I skip cooking too and eat out bread and cheese with coffee. That saves some time. If I enjoy the postpone - there are times when I do. Like if I have to watch a movie, I will forgo any work - that becomes not so important and the movie gets enjoyed. As I dont believe in regretting, so almost all time, I never feel sad or depressed to see there is more work which could have been less if I skipped the movie

Se this applies on everybody and it looks or tend to be monotonous if you do same/ similar job everyday. That is why we are human and not machines or computer. But as we all have responsibilities to fulfill we need to give our best every time. If you are just fed up with your job or being a student you just don't homework or assignments anymore you need to make up your mind and reconfigure it as you really must complete it on time. I used to postpone my assignments back when I was in college, but now I don't have many in hand and neither I am supposed to make them so I am free.

I am quite ok for doing my home works as well as assignments on time but the problem is about the studies. I just postpone them on the next day and finally i am not able to study it anymore.

Postponing most of his work or things will really change his attitude and his personality. This attitude makes to think to do all the things later. I just used to do the things on time but exceptions for some works, which makes of really bored.

I try to get as much work done in one day as I can. Some days I work harder than others it all depends on what else I have to do during the day. I don't like postponing work, I'd rather just get it over and done with.

Hi! I do not procrastinate or postpone my work, as much as possible. I believe in the dictum - "Tomorrow never comes". Postponing a work could be troublesome and could make us feel more tense.

Wonder, most of the time i prefer not to postpone any of my works. Only when i don't have enough time to perform all my works, then only i will postpone those unimportant works first. I will usually do my most important work which have deadline first. After had completed those urgent works, then i will proceed to do my other postponed works. I will use all my available time to finish those other works. So far, i don't have much of works which i haven't completed yet.

I am a person who is interested in doing things then and there and not postpone them. I use to adopt this style when I have more work. But nowadays when I get less writing work-- I adopt strategy of postponing so that I continue to have work all days and I feel important-- I keep them pending and do mylotting. But you youngsters -- please avoid procrastination. postponing, It is a disease and once you are caught it will be difficult to change. the following points were given by an engineering college students on a session on time management and this is more relevant to this -- postponing work. PLANNING -- PRE – PLANNING DO NOT POSTPONE TIME IS PRECIOUS INTERESTED TO DO THE WORK AVOID LAZINESS WORK TOGETHER CONCENTRATION IS IMPORTANT TORTOISE AND RABBIT -- STORY THINK ABOUT DEADLINES DEDICATE YOURSELF TO THE WORK MOTHER – WORKER – MISSED THE TRAIN KNOWS— BE ACTIVE AND INVOLVE YOURSELF IN WORK DO NOT WASTE TIME IN SOCIAL WEBSITES PRACTICE MAKES A MAN PERFECT GO TO BED ON TIME WAKE UP BEFORE 6 AM--- READ NEWSPAPERS-- CATCH THE BUS ON TIME ATTENTIVE TIME AND TIDE WAIT FOR NO ONE HARD WORK CHAIN EFFECT OF POSTPONING WORK MONITORING YOUR GOAL—ALLOCATION OF WORK TO SUITABLE PERSON ACTIVE AS “NOODLE” NOT IN A HURRY A STITCH IN TIME SAVES NINE Hope this will be of use for you.

Well, these are the some of the points where we people are well aware of but the thing is that, we are ignorant about how to put them in our life.

Hello! In my old house, I had a magnet on my fridge that said: "Don't leave something for tomorrow if you can do it today" I am one of the people that might postpone things for another day, so this magnet used to remind me that I should do everything today when I can! It's very important to be consistent and so everything with the right timing! This magnet had motivated me many times! Now that I've moved to my parent's house I don't have it any more on the fridge, but thanks for reminding me that I have to find it and put it somewhere that I'll see it every day!

I think it is the time to get a magnet as fast as possible. So it forces me to do my works quite well.

I always do that, I am a mad procrastinator and it's no secret to everyone at home and even my classmates and friends. I guess I'm just that lazy, eh? In my country, we have this bad tradition..err...it's not really a tradition but it's recorded and being discuss in school, probably in History subject and Values as well. Oh, I remembered the more fitting term, it's a bad cultural trait that is known in the country, we call it 'Manyana Habit', a short-term for 'Mamaya na' which means 'Later' in English. It had been a habit for us to say 'Mamaya na' everytime someone gives us task or asks us to do something. We tend to forego the thought of doing it immediately due to some reasons..*coughcoughtoolazycoughcough* But that doesn't mean that everyone in my country is like that, it's just that that's what you'll mostly hear from us. ;) I am really such a lazy bum that I don't always complete my task or just do it halfway and resume on working on it in the next days. It's not a really good habit, because I always end up having too much work spread on my desk because I didn't do them when I have much time. But I still can say that I find comfort from it at times, because sometimes, I turn to be more energetic and productive at the last minutes. Whenever I have a long span of time to do a job, my mind goes blank and I can't seem to come up with ideas or find the energy to do it because I'm aware that I could stretch my time. My free time would usually be me, discovering new stuffs and piling up more works on my desk. Haha! I'm an explorer and I really feel the need to list many things to do and try different stuffs that I would sometimes get confuse on where and which to start first. ^^ It's really cool for me, I'm pretty comfortable with this bad habit but am confident that I could always all my works even if I tend to postpone them, I have always managed to fulfill them anyway. ^^

Well we all have that habit of postponing our works till tomorrow but the consequences are always bad and horrifying and still we continue to do the same for the rest of our lives. this is human nature and will never change but we should take the initiative to at least not to delay most of the things until tomorrow and finish them off as quickly as possible. This will make us more disciplined and time bound. What say?

I also just used to try my works in time but at some time i do not have the mood to cop us with the things, which results in the postponing of my works on the next days.
