Someone is Missing From my Friends' List

It's been several days since I was not able to interact with this friend on myLot. So I decided to look for her in my friends list so that I would be able to know when was the last time she logged in. But I cannot find her name!
I went back to the discussions that I started and found her reply in one of those discussions. I clicked her name only to be redirected to the main page. What could be the reason? I hope she is just okay.
Did you ever encountered such thing? Do you also know her? She has been here long before I became a member.

This person probably cancelled their account here with mylot. I find I am missing some friends too and people just don't like it here or don't have time for the site anymore and delete their accounts. Sometimes mylot will delete the accounts too if there's any violation going on that they found out about. I'm sure you'll make many new friends and maybe you're friend will decide to come back again.

Oh! But my friend is here for a long time and I am expecting her to know the rules better than I am. I just miss her. I still found one of her replies but when I checked it again, it's gone already. I mean the response. I am just sad.

hi sadly that means her account was deleted by mylot as otherwise he response would remain. that is sad but maybe she can come bavk under new name and this time mind the rules better.

It seems weird to me because Stowyk has been here for a while and I have never seen her go against the rules here, ever...I don't understand at all how this happened. I am so sad. She was a good friend here and I really hope she comes back!

riyauro she is also my friend and she was here yesterday as she responded to a lot of the same discussions I responded to so she is very much okay.No I do not think she would cancel out as shes been here as long as I have.Glad I c an say shes still

You have to realize that even knowing the rules, people can CHOOSE not to follow them. One accidental breaking of the rules, like a bad discussion, does not get you canceled. A deliberate breaking of the rules, like having two accounts, is not an accident and will get you removed as soon as it is confirmed. Deliberately doing something does not merit a warning as you already KNOW you are cheating.

Why would they have two accounts in the first place? I myself cannot even maintain fully my account so why some would have several accounts? what could be the purpose of that? I don't understand.
Well, anyway, whatever reason they may have, it is still breaking the rule. Thank you for the information.

that is a really good question. All I can think of is one account is the referral for the other account and so the main account earns from the referral. It is also a tool to keep interest on the discussions so there are more comments to be left. I knew of a person one time who thought that getting best response was profitable. That person basically posed as brother and sister, and each one would give the other best response on all discussions. I cannot remember what gave them away, but I did report them, they did get banned. That was four or five years ago.

Oh I see! I understand. But still, that is cheating. I would still go for the right thing. If ever I commit any mistake, because of course we are not that perfect, I can tell myself that is unintentional. Thank you Garden Gerty for the explanations. Have a nice day!

hi aries I always hate that as it means my friend no longer has an account here,either she left or was banned for some reason.I have no idea who your friend is but you have my sympathy as we learn to r eally like someone here and correspond then suddenly he or she does not respond and we wonder what has happened, is he or s he okay. maybe your friend will come back soon and open a new account. lots of users here do do that.

Hi friend, if the profile redirects you to the main page, it means that the user account is no more. The user may cancel his/her account by own or mylot banned them from this site for violation. If you have her email id, contact her using it and ask the reason for her account cancellation

I know it's one of your important friend here, I have read mysD's response before typing my response... as for me, am not really into looking at my friend's list... I check their availability tru their started discussions and answered topics, so most of my friends at my profile are not that organized and monitored, I do not know most of them... but as what mysD told you, she was gone, maybe had deleted her account or the admin did it... but for some valid reason, I was not active here for couple of years but the admin never deleted or deactivated my account. Anyway, she might have changed her username too by creating a new account, and who knows he is here in your discussion!

Hi dorothy! Yes, that could be the reason but some of our friends said that her account might had been deleted by the admin for one reason or another.

That measn that person is no longer a Mylot memeber. They either were kicked off or they deleted their own account. It has happen to me a few times. Nothing you can do about it.
