Phone tag...You're it

Have you ever played what I like to call phone tag? You call someone and you get their voice mail and you state on their voice mail to call you back. Eventually they call you back but for one reason or another you miss their call and you have to call them back. Eventually, you finally get to talk to someone. Or when you call a business and they receptionist transfers you're call to the person you need to talk to and it goes to their voice mail and the voice mail is full?

all the time. i think we all do that at times. ever since answering machines were invented and its just gotten worse since we have so much automated things at companies.
sometimes if no one answers any calls all day ive made to different people and places i feel like im in the twilight zone!

I know what you mean! Or you call a business during working hours and no one answers the phone at all, you're not even put on hold. It like, I would take a job answering phone calls!

Oh, this has happened to me so many times and it drives me crazy

I have had all of the circumstances you mentioned happen to me one time or another. It is frustrating, aggravating, disconcerting and afew more of those. It is very nice to have the purpose you are calling actually answer the phone. I hate it when their voicemail is full so you try the next day and it still is.

Ever since I got a cell phone I have never checked the voice mail once! Whenever someone calls I just try to contact them back as soon as possible. To avoid the phone tag game I usually just text them first and ask if it is a good time to call and I will call them as soon as they respond to my text so I know they are on their phone.
