A year ago, I was working as an adviser in one of the developing country. Translator was at my side when I do my activities. A part of being flexible, I do learn the language of that country. Women are influenced by their culture, not to mingle with men. I embraced the culture differences. Once I've told my translator, we need to consider women's politics. I felt so surprise about it, but I do understand the situation. What is really the main idea of women's politics? Lovely ladies, please do englighten me.

Women Politics and Women in Politics are two different things,. The first one is what women involved themself with mostly to front for their rights whereas the latter is where women compete in elective political posts. Sorry I'm not a woman but I thought I could enlighten you nonetheless!

I hate politics, and try to avoid them at all costs. But in some countries woman dont have a say in anything which is a shame.

Women in my country sure have a great affinity for politics. I suppose in many ways politics reflects a lot of everyday life. If a woman gets involved in politics, then she has to be prepared for an 'every person for herself' battle if she wants to get into some sort of leadership position. Which is all very well. Aftersll, it helps to have power and position in order to do something for society.

I don't know that I would call this woman's politics, instead, I would think that it would be called fighting for the rights of women. Now in the country that I live in, women are considered to be equal in most situations, so this isn't a battle that is being fought right now. However, the only reason that women have the same rights as men is because of the fact that there were brave women that went before us that did fight for the rights of all women.

Don't know about women politics. But I know censorship freaks are running the country I'm staying. No freedom of speech though. "Sigh"

First of all,as a boy,may I join in this discussion? In my opinion, the essence of what you had encountered is not the women plitics itself,I think the essence are politics and religion of that country. It is not easy to figure issue because it is very complicate,by any way I think our world is keep developing so the situation of women in that country will be better and better.

I think women have come a long way in the last 112 years. Back in the 1900's women couldn't vote, own land, wear jewelry outside the home, hold any office, etc. They were dependent on their men. So now women are still fighting for a equal wage and all the stuff that women need to have a good life. And there is abortion and personal rights to good medical care. Lots of issues and all under the umbrella of 'women's politics'.

I only have one thing in mind regarding this matter. This is my opinion (my own observation) Men in politics usually select or married beautiful and smart women. Politician/s who has a wife with pretty face and smart usually attract people easily.
