I applied to a few more jobs last night.

Two grocery stores in the next town over are hiring for part time midnight cashiers, so I applied.
I also printed off a few resumes, and going to pick up an application for a few fast food jobs.
I figured if I could work my day job, and my current part time job plus another part time job. I would need $300 roughly more so just would need something small.
I wish I could get a full time job but simple none around here.

This has been 2 weeks ago. I hope you get something, if not, there will be something.
Are you in school?

This could be worth it, but it will be really tiring. Still, an extra job would definitely be a stable way to make more money.

It seems most places are only hiring on a part-time basis, even around here.
I've been applying to jobs as well and have a job interview later on in the day today. I'm hoping it's full-time (or at the very least leads to it), but I'm not holding my breath. I won't mind if it's part time (to start), just so long as the days are more than 4 hours long (otherwise it won't be worth the drive). That and that they are flexible in the hours I work, that way I can keep my current job... at least for now.
Happy mylotting!
PS Good luck with your job hunt!

The job market is still rather weak in your province. However, that doesn't completely rule out you being able to get a full-time job. It may simply be a matter of needing to network more--something that you really haven't been doing. If you spend all of your time working lower-paying part-time jobs, you don't have much of a chance to make the right connections to get a really good, full-time position.
You need to be doing things that are in line with the career you wish to pursue. Join organizations; do volunteer work; be active in your faith community. Find the people who have real connections.

I really admire you for your work ethic. I'm thinking you will get really tired working another job, but you have to do what you have to do to have what you want from life. Please don't wear yourself out.

Sadly, in todays economy you have to work several jobs to meet ends meet. I was actually trying to find 1 or 2 more part time jobs. I want one for the end of the week for the days I have off from my part time job now. But I have to remember my seasonal job, but need to work several jobs while off from it (so when I move out, I need the steady switch or else Im screwed) which is why Ive been applying for nights part time.
I use to work full time nights, my day job, and my seasonal job. So this wouldnt be as bad, but I tried redoing my budget but then again an*l me said what if I need the savings so I put this much into car repairs, this much into house repairs, this much into emergency / misc, then this much in animal emergemcy.

well, with all the part time jobs you have, don't forget about you and your health. also, if you are saving up to move, you could move to a city near you and job hunt there. what about Christmas help? i know they start hiring now for November/December/and part of January.

No companies are giving full time work right now, not really. When I applied to my job it was part time but we still got health benefits. Hopefully you can find something that will give you the extra few bucks. Why not try more pet sitting gigs? If there is a bulletin board at your work you could post your looking for more petsitting gigs?
In the meantime hopefully you will get a job at one of those grocery stores. Grocery stores do give you a little bit of a discount on somethings. For me every month it changes, but sometimes it's $5.00 off after spending $25.00, or more off towards soup etc.

We are in the same situation in our country at the moment in that we don't have all that many jobs coming our way either. The bad thing is that there are so many people looking for the jobs that they get far too competitive which means that the people who get the jobs end up being very qualified, so if we want to go for a job we have to do things like get a degree which obviously costs a lot of money. But I hope that you do get your job because getting that bit of extra money each month would certainly make the difference to your quality of life.
