Visiting India for Business and Hope to find time for pleasure! This will be my first time to travel on my own, pretty nervous and excited to what awaits me in India. Pretty sure to find a nice cozy hotel, and of course I love food and would really like to try some local dishes served in India. I am also hoping to see my x girlfriend by chance. Meet people and learn the Indian cultures are also one of many things I'd like to do India. I hope I will not be so busy doing Business so I can have more fun and adventures on a Beautiful Country.

Hope you have a good trip. If I where you I suggest doing some online searching and see what sights there are to see in the area you are going then that way you can go there with an ideas of things to see. I have seen many beautiful pictures of India and it seems like a very wonderful place too visit. So I hope you get to enjoy yourself very much!

I can see that you are very excited about your business visit to India and I hope you have some time for leisure too. The Indian culture is sure to fascinate you. I am sure you will be fine to travel there alone. Maybe you might bump into your ex girlfriend but in order to see how she feels you might be able to send her an email or phone her. Good luck with your trip.

To be honest I'm not excited about the Business thing it will just give me stress, what really excites me are the people, places , food. I dont think my Ex girlfriend wanted to see me too.. My last memories with her is hitting me with a plate and loosing my tooth! LOL. She's so lovely...

Yes, You are right. It will be my first time to travel all by myself and yeah, a bit of nervousness because I don't have any friends nor relatives there to assist me. but what I'm really excited about is the food and people. I'm not worrying or excited about the real purpose of being there and that is business..LOL

You travel to India to meet your ex girlfriend??? I don't know what you can expect, question is: what do you expect or should I say hope for? Is this hope realistic? What will you do if it doesn't work out the way you hope it will? I heard in the news the people in India want the foreigners doing business in their country to leave... I wonder if the Indians doing business in other countries will leave there too.

Hi jaraan, you are right that you can meet different people and learn the Indian culture. In India there are many states where you can travel and every part of India you can find a different culture but one thing will be the same in all over the India that all the people pay you good attention and give you warm welcome. I would give you a suggestion to visit North India especially Punjab and visit villages where you can experience a new culture, sports, food and many more things.

India as you know is a huge country and to cover this country you will atleast need a whole year! Which part of India would you be camping at? And how many days of free time would you have to sight see?

Oh, it is nice when you can do travel on your own. For sure it is hard a bit when you go alone but i think you will have such nice time in there, to know more about culture, life style, etc. I like to travel also and my trip to thailand in next month is the first time i go alone also. but i don't worry much, what will be will be, just be careful when you are alone...

If I saw the situation personally and I think the husband is not that big or should I say I think I can stop him then I will right away. But if the husband has bigger body compared to me then I will call the cops right away to stop that person. That husband is a shame Im telling you, in a marriage you vowed for your wife and then when you hit her you are not standing up for the vows that you have promised. This husband should go to jail

Good for you, to be given a chance to travel abroad for work. I have been sent abroad too for work but I've never been to India. The Taj Mahal is actually one of the places that I want to visit before I kick the bucket. Good luck and have fun!
