It has been a weird day. Josh didn't get his morning pills so he was whining and pathetic all day. Cami has been crabby and uncommuncative most of the day. We had a very good dinner and that was probably the only good thing about it. So about 7ish this evening I noticed a big, full orange moon up in the sky. I remember when I was very young and working as a cocktail waitress. When there was a full moon you could really tell. There were alot of fights and weird people abounded. Do you feel the full moon or see it? Do you usually have a weird time during a full moon?

I dredded full moons when I worked in a prison. But we made light of it. One of the officers would howl at the moon. One time I was running behind when I worked nights and I couldn't shave a second time, so I had 5 o'clock shadow (polycystic ovarian or Stein Leventhal Syndrome if you want to look up why I'm like that and a woman). The howling officer was on, he howled and the inmates noticed my hairy face. I almost fell over laughing when I heard someone in the back of the room loudly whispter, " Bunch of throw backs up here." I think he was trying to comfort himself because a lot of the inmates thought we were weirwolves.

Yeah, they say that. My cousin counted on that and she got pregnant at 16 so I don't listen to much that they say. Yeah, I think everyone was making light of it, even the nervous inmates. Working at night in a prison is scary.

I bet you did dread full moons when you worked in a prison. I would probably try to make light of it too just so I wouldn't be so nervous. Not sure I want to know about the Syndrome or not. Weirwolves, huh? Maybe I better check into it after all. lol. Sad that it can mean infertility in some cases.

I haven't noticed a difference, but there are studies about the full moon and how people's personalities change. There is also studies about how the ebb and tide of the sea also changes people's personalities.

Yes, the ebb and tide of the sea is what I always think of. I find it fascinating.

Haha.. I fell from my bed and hit my head on Saturday and have been laughing at my blue and lilac eye yesterday. I have never had one, so I'm taking all joy I can from it.. Otherwise I felt like usual mood yesterday, but I look like as if I have been fighting. Have to put on sunglasses when I go out - I hope the sun will be visible..

I never get any weird moments during full moons. I do see that I get moody sometimes but I doubt that has anything to do with full moon though but I do know it gets worse around that time. The other night we had a harvest moon I thought it was pretty cool I never seen one before. We had one about a month ago and I missed it because I was sleeping but was happy I got to see it this time. I love when the moon changes colors it's very cool and I love taking photos.

It could have to do with the full moon but maybe you are one of the ones it doesn't effect. The harvest moon is nice. We have a moon here that has a blue ring around it at times. Can't recall what they call it.

Yes, lots of drinking and accidents. I can't miss the full moon. I open my window in the evening and there it is staring at me.

I usually can feel it before I see it, I look up at the sky and see the full moon and have one of the oh that why moments.. Granted it was last week but that day was extremely crazy... typical when the moon is full.. There has to be something that just makes people act a little more loopy, bet there is a scientific name for it.. Its so weird with the full moon, that day you were at least in my neck of the woods, I was able to see the moon for most of the next morning too.. wonder why that happens?

I usually feel very happy around the full moon. I smile for no reason. It starts a few days before the full moon. It affects me.

Hi celticeagle! You observed right,in full moon day many weired things happen.when moon appears full its gravitational force increases so its have its own effect.mostly mentally disturbed persons go insane on this day.but normal balanced persons arenot effected at all,i think.have a good day.

Yes, I know! They certainly do. I think both normal and mentally disturbed are bothered during the full moon. Weird occurences affect even the most normal.
