Capital Punishment for Criminals

Those who commits crimes have punishment to face. They either live their whole lives paying the price for causing grief and trouble to other people. But it has always been an issue if death penalty should be given as punishment for those who commit heinous crime. I am not really that religious, but still, I believe that even if those criminals took away lives, the authorities, should not be like those criminals, taking away lives. They should be given chance to reflect on what they have done and be reformed. How about you? How do you think of capital punishment.

Whenever I think of capitol punishment I immediately think of the book/movie Papillon. Wonderful movie and great book. It tells about life on a prison island and the escape from this island. And there is that cable series Oz as well. Both are very realistic. I would think that capitol punishment would be horrible. Not able to get online, horrible food, boredom, etc.
