There are people who are gifted with enough charisma to be able to blend and meet people easily and befriend them just the same. There are also some who can be too aloof so they tend to push people away even before having the chance to meet them. Personally, I am somewhere in between. I can easily strike up a conversation with a stranger, however, I do not feel comfortable with them in instant to befriend them at the first meeting. How about you? Are you a "people-person" or a loner?

I am a loner. I used to be extremely shy when i was younger. I have come a long way from how I was. So shy I wouldn't talk to anyone. When you have kids you have to over come the shyness so you can speak up for them and talk about them. I did tend to become friends with the people-person types.

I don't make friends very easily at all, but when I do manage to make friends I am very good to them and will always be there for them whenever they need me to be. I have a friend who can literally just go up to people and start chatting about things, and I have always been very jealous of him for that reason because it is something that I have never managed to do at all. I like the friends that I have, and wouldn't change them for the world, but I do still think that I would much prefer to be able to talk to new people a lot more easily than I can do at the moment.

Well glad that u started this discussion. i am too in between a person-person and a loner personality. i love making friends and extending my network but i am that kind of person who often takes time to befriend someone as i am always interested to know about a new person more. So i never instantly strike a conversation with someone rather i wait for few instants and then look at the perfect time to strike a conversation with them.
What say?
