Everything is created for a purpose..including the rats

ants, cockroaches, lizards, spiders, snakes, sharks, whales, piranhas, you, me, my enemies, ...just about everything..
So tell me what do you think rats, ants, cockroaches...you, and me, were created for..
Post Script..I actually dont see any purpose for my creation except perhaps ensuring that rats got a bit less to eat so that they couldnt create as much menace and stink as they normally manage to do.

YUCK is the reason for it all! LOL
I imagine that the little irritations with 4+ legs, 2-leggers with sharp teeth and some people who are not pleasant have a purpose to make us behave in this life so we don't wind up one of their siblings in our next one!

Well, my dear vandy...in a mere 16 years I will be 82! And probably a grumpy old man because none of my boyfriends will love me anymore! We can talk more seriously then! Can you wait? HA HA HA!

I sometimes think something like ants probably have more purpose than I do. 
I don't know what their purpose is. I don't know what mine is except perhaps to keep my nieces fed and calm while they are here.
Ants are provided so we don't stick our hands in honey on picnic tables. 
Rats they can eat lint we drop or use it for their nests.
Lizards just like to soak up sun and eat bugs!
Well any way they all have a purpose and i probably do too.

I don't know what they are seeking here, but after six years up here walking in the pine forests nearby the only snakes we have seen are a red-bellied black and a king brown, both deadly, both in our own backyard, and through the good graces of the K9 Gods, neither of our dogs saw them.
Perhaps we have been more evil than you, and so get evil rather than merely annoying visitations?

Ants are part of the earth's "house cleaning" crew. Lot of insects are part of the crew. Bees and some flies pollinate plants, even some bats.
We are all part of the organic "machine" that is the planet Earth.
Now, I know some people think that humans have become a cancer on the planet, but if that's the case, it'll be dealt with.
I don't think we should therefore not be good stewards of what we have, recycling and reusing things.
As to why I'm hear? Why to try and safe a few cats, and take them (and myself) out of the reproduction business.

Elic..I am fine with those cleaners, but so are earthworms. We dont fear earthworms, right? We try to preserve them. But ants, we want to kill them..
You are taking cats out of reproduction business, and I am concentrating on the rats. I mean, if I eat more, fewer rats would have enough to eat. In the process they would review their plans to have another baby, right? After all, rats are not going to understand our laws and literature on population control.

Ants - they were created to feast and occupy my place of stay. And they even made an occupation of my keyboard and munched out on the "C" Key
Rats - they were created to eat and flourish on my shirts and turn my denims into torn holed denims (they never liked me to stay outdated wearing normal full stitched ones)
Roaches - they were created to scare me and make me dislike that color of thiers
You - created for ... wait... thinking whether to agree with the post script or write my own script....
Me... god got confused with the reasons and found it best to forget them... and now, how can I try to figure out when I have no clue

I think ants were created to - keep a person moving while sleeping so that the burglar does not have confidence to steal. That is one reason I felt suited the ants very well. The other, they have formic acid in them, which is good for eye sight. We the humans are so lazy. So we might forget to take some vitamin A in right time. But the ant would behave like a loving aunt and inject it in us. It is also pretty cheap source of Vitamin A dont you think? A papaya would cost me 30 bucks. :)
Now Rats are something I am confused about...

Ah yes, formic acid and the burglar on your earlier discussion though the formic acid was mentioned on MysD's box (thought to paste those here but that would be copy paste) Hmmm... Vitamin A but many (though not me) fear the injections so it would be good for them and me too but they ate away the "C" key of my keyboard earlier and a group also doesnt hesitate in a swim in the water filter(I think it has to do with global warming somewhere)
And for the rats... they ate up parts of my denim pants some years back so I dont want them around even if they were for good (ans also in some houses they dig tunnels to escape - they still belong to the Mahabharata era and believe every house is a house for Pandavas done by the Kauravas)

Yes, everything was created with a purpose.
-Roaches are created to freak me out. Otherwise, I won't be a normal person. I hate them especially those that flies.
-Rats were created so that cats have something to chase and also to freak my mom. They are the ones who eat everything in the attic. When you can't decide whether to throw your old stuffs, rats will decide for you after they have destroyed them.
-Ants, I think were created so that we will know when it will rain hard because they get lots of food before a rainy day.Lol
And also to share with them our sweets that we can't eat after them.
And finally, I know I'm created with a purpose but I do not know yet what it is. lol

Rats ...now that you tell me..but of course. Cats can be so lazy at times..lol
Ants...I wish god would create less acidic rain symbols..lol

Hi vandana,
the creator knows the purpose of his/her(if the creator has any gender) creations. The creations act according to his/her setup made by the creator. The creations can do nothing beyond the setup. Like humans rats, ants, cockroaches and all the creations think they are the greatest creation. I think the creator thyself does not know the purpose of creation. Actually all are meaningless. After closing eyes all are vanished.

Hi Vandy I'm not sure what those pests were created for. Maybe the ants aerate the ground? Maybe each insect, lizard and snake and rat are part of the food chain to keep everything in balance. Like bats eat mosquitoes here. Spiders eat other insects. I'm not sure roaches were created by God. I often wonder if the are the devil's masterpiece. Just kidding.

Yes..I agree. I am a part of that food chain too. By eating I deprive rats from enough food. In the process they are forced to resort to family planning. And therefore, the food that gets spared for other humans is because of me. My function may look small, but results are great, dont you think?

I believe that humans are created for a purpose..The reason those creatures were created is to create new medicines for humans , to transport parasites, etc..
Flies, helps speed up decomposition, spiders are food for, fish, lizards, etc..
I guess it's all part of a food chain cycle..

Your response got me to think a bit.
Perhaps we humans are a sort of concoction.
So periodically, god wishes to insert a few chemicals and stuff like that. Obviously, we will steal his diamond studded platinum spoons that would be used to add new chemicals in us. So god chose to create pests. These pests like mosquitoes, rats, cats, etc., are able to remove or add anything that god desires in our lives perhaps..
I mean, I am open to any suggestions ..however wild and far-fetched it may sound..
