If you watched a movie called The Mist, then you might be impressed by its ending. As they didn't stick in at last even if they had overcome so many difficulties. But in the end they chose to end their lives. However, when the actor wanted to get out to die, then at this moment the soldiers appeared to rescue people. This man felt terrible since he shot four people just now so that they could die without much pains. But if they could stick in a little longer, they all could survive. I felt bad to this ending.

I remember watching The Mist and it was weird. I felt bad also. They killed the younger person thinking they would save it from the horrors they were sure was to come. Then he gets out and the soldiers come. What a way to end a movie. The decisions we make follow us.

I seem to remember this movie. Is it the one with Tom Welling, and where the main female character went with the ghosts in the end? It was supposed to be a horror movie, but I wasn't even half scared. But then horror movies never scared me, lol! An average enough movie for me.

Lynnes... the ones with Tom welling is THE FOG.. lol..this one he talking about is THE MIST... both were written by legendary novelist Stephen Kings.. the fOG..was made twice..once back in early 80s..and 2005

I HATED the end of the movie. Funny enough, it is not the ending Stephen King wrote in the book this movie was based on. I never read the book, but I read this information in a magazine. They said Stephen King was fine with the changing of the ending. I was really disappointed in how it ended. It is one movie I wish I had not watched.

Youless, sad to see the ending is soo disappointing. Supposed if the writer changed the last part into a happy ending, then this movie going to be great. I just can't understand sometimes at why people choose to end their life when they are on the winning side. Sometimes in real life situation, some people also choose that wrong path and makes life miserable for those who are still living.

I also hope this movie will have a better ending. I even preferred they were eaten by the monster rather than they killed themselves.

yeah... if they just stay put in the car.. they supposed to be alrite since theres no creatures outside at that time..nothing to be panicked about..all was calm when they decide to put revolver into their mouth..a bad choice by main actor...

yeah... the should kept on surviving..as far as they can.. gee..guess Stephen King wanted to show an erroneous side of human judgement..at certain times..
