People will forget what you said, forget what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel. A quote from Maya Angelou. I love this particular quote because it is so accessible for everyone. We may not always say the best things, or do some great deed, but every day of our lives we make someone feel something. This is a big challenge and if we can look back over our day and recall that something we did or said made someone feel better about themselves or their lives then our life counts for something.

my late hubby lived by that. he did not believe in argueing for the same reason. he believed you talk about things with thought to not get carried away to come to a comprimise without anger. i have a plack a boyfriend gave me years ago that says, i love you not only for who you are but for how you make me feel when im with you.

A quote by Maya Angelous, what a good way to respond to the way we contribute to responses! Thanks a lot for making us realise things so clearly and meaningfully!

And sometimes what we meant one way can make them feel the other. Kids, especially. I hope to always make others feel good, but I also know that sometimes I can have a sharp tongue.

The good thing about kids Gerty is that a kiss and a cuddle soon puts things right.

This quote reminds that men are great at select hearing and some will tone you out completely. It also makes me realize there are so many people out there who will not say anything good to anyboby! This discussion just makes me think of bad things. Nothing else sorry to say.

Hi, This quote is very meaningful. We should behave with others softly an kindly. Never insult anyone. We should be nice with everyone. Others should feel pleasant by our presence with them. Our presence should make them happy. We should help others and make them happy and feel better by our doing.
