the FTV inspire me for making the discussion..
The FTV tell about Onde-Onde..one of the traditional cake of Indonesia..
Onde-onde is delicious cake...but not many of house wife in bigger city forget about traditional cake, include Onde-Onde..with the rapidly development of the modern cake like Donuts, brownies and so on, many "modern" woman prefer choose the 'modern" cake than traditional cake like Onde-Onde..
what about you guys??
do you still eat Onde-Onde when someone offer your Onde-Onde, Pisang Goreng, Wajik, and so on??
share your opinions for protecting the traditional cake from the rapidly invasion of modern cake?
have a nice monday guys...

They are two different things; you know, like orange and apple...
Klepon has brown sugar inside and shredded coconut outside. Onde-onde has mung bean inside and sesame seeds outside. Klepon is usually green and they are steamed. Onde-onde has yellow brownish color because they are fried.
A friend made me some onde-onde last weekend. They are finished now; otherwise, I would take a picture to show what they look like here...
