Eversince Afridi supported Akhtar by saying Tendulkar was trembling when facing up to the Pakistan chucker the Indians have been pulling Afridi's leg. Dad , when asked where he would put Afridi in his batting order he said no.11. After Afridi got out first ball 3 times in this world cup the commentators had a field day laughing away at poor Afridi. Once, when he got out playing an irresponsible lofted shot to long-on his captain asked him 'what were you doing?' Afridi answered he was trying to take a single. That is a scream...LOL! Afridi must be the most impulsive hitter in world cricket.
Sehwag, nowadays , gives the impression that he too is playing from memory, he looks a shadow of his former self. What does a captain do when he has players like this?

Afridi will continue playing till Pakistanis are allowed to play in IPL... then he will retire. Sachin will go soon and Sehwag will simply fade away, he seems to have lost his reflexes and is looking forlorn and miserable.

Rohit is a tested player and he has age on his side. He could have done better, he has'nt. But newer players will emerge as BCCI finally decides to have different captains for the three formats.
This T-20 has shown that it is not bang bang cricket any more and bowlers will have a say, finally.

Afridi is an immensely gifted cricketer but not more than Sachin. After a decade of cricket Sachin was able to change his game and adapt well. The result is there for all to see. Afridi is the same guy without any improvement in his batting style. Obviously, the international bowlers have sorted him out and dented his confidence and so he continues to fail.
The Pakistan cricket story is the same. The talent is there but there is a resistance to change and the team still crumbles under pressure where as nations like Srilanka and India have moved on and have challenged and won against the best. Pakistan remains a talented side but highly unpredictable and ready to implode at any time.

Well that attack which Shoaib Akhtar launched on Sachin was just a cheap gimmick to sell his book which eventually turned out a big flop anyways, i dont know for what reason Afridi joined the bandwagon that time.If same questions were raised by great batsman like Zaheer Abbas or Inzamam then people would have taken it more seriously, but Afridi commenting on batting technique of Sachin is laughable and stupid, may be he did that because he could not digest the 2011 World cup loss.Imaran Khan has done constructive criticism of Indian team so many times ,everyone has taken it gracefully and in a positive manner.Pakistan used to beat India in 4 out of 5 games in 90s,since 2000 India have given them tough competition, stats are neck to neck since them, may be likes of Afridi and Akhtar could not face the reality and they are stuck in past. If Afridi can control his temperament he can do great as a lower order player for Pakistan but he wants to live upto his reputation ,same goes with Sehwag ,he too has failed in every test series since that India's tour of SA.Captain cant control such players ,all you can do is give advice that play according to situation if someone chooses his reputation over team then no one can help it.
