Wenger praise santi Cazorla...
Arsenal manager believes that Santi cazorla will be the next idol for Arsenal fans...Wenger said that cazorla remind him to another England legend, Glen Hoddle..
Wenger ever train Glenn Hoddle in Monaco, middle 1980..
I guess you know who is Glenn Hoddle..he ever become manager of england national team..
Why Wenger said that Cazorla remind him with Hoddle..
because of the foot ability..both of them have good ability in left and right foot...It`s rare if we find the player which have ability in both of foot, left and right foot..
until now, Cazorla had scored 2 goals and 2 assist..but wenger believe that Cazorla will be the next idol in Emirates Stadium
What about you?? share your opinions about Cazorla..

I am a great fan of Glenn Hoddle who was the Platini of England in his days. You should see his long distance passings - they were awesome and mesmerizing! Glenn Hoddle played for Spurs from 1975–1987. He played for Arsene Wenger in Monaco from 1987–1991. The comment by Wenger comparing Cazorla, an Arsenal player, to a Spurs legend is a bit funny, considering the rivalry of both London clubs but I feel that is a very high compliments for Cazorla. I hope he could live up to the praise and perform well for Arsene Wenger.

Glenn Hoddle played mainly as a central midfielder but he could also play in the wing. The Spurs team in his days was an exciting team that liked to attack. But they managed only to win some cups and was less successful in the league. That showed a balanced team is needed to sustain a whole season's matches rather than just playing well in just a few matches.
Here is one youtube video about Hoddle:

Looking at his performance over the weekend, I tend to agree with Arsene Wenger. Santi Cazorla seems to be a premium version of Fabregas. I think his finishing is better than Fabregas and his work rate is quite similar to Fabregas. But I think it is too early to compare Cazorla with Hoddle as Cazorla has so far won nothing. He still needs to go through this season and then we will see where he will move from here on.
Cheers!

I am very surprised that Wenger said that. Cazorla is the idol now, not the next. When Cazorla first joined the club, the concern is whether he can adapt to the physical nature of the english game as he is pretty small in build. But he has taken the game like fish to water. Genuninely both footed, he is hard to knock of the ball and with an eye for the killer pass. A great addition to the team indeed. Based on what was seen so far, it is a close fight between Cazorla and Hazard to the best buy of the summer.

I think Cazorla is an absolutely fantastic little player. He does not particularly remind me of Hoddle -for one thing he is much faster! I suppose there are similarities with his dexterity in using both feet. Hoddle was a very untypical English player in that he was such a stylist. Cazorla is too, but in a different way. Hoddle always seemed a bit lazy and languid on the ball -his talent meant that he could make the ball do the talking. Cazorla also has the skill in his locker, but will also run himself into the ground. In this respect he reminds me of Tevez, in attitude.
