Hello, myLotters! I recently read a book, Our Roads Will Always Cross, by Naomi Green. It is a short novel, about a girl who tries to kill her stepfather, who has been torturing her, her brothers and her mother. She finally escapes and tries to start a new life, somewhere far away, but she finds out that her father is sill alive. This is a very strong book, with powerful scenes, and the main character is followed closely. She is very well defined, and it is a true model of a fighter, of a truly strong character. Has anyone read this book? I've seen it available on amazon. What do you think about it?

I haven't read this one but I now have it in my "to read" list. The way you put it had me thinking of wanting to read it and I haven't had a new read in quite a while. Thanks for sharing the title! I'll comment again when I finally get to read it. :D

In my younger days, I devoured books reading them from cover to cover. Reading is indeed a very sound pastime. It affords several benefits, vocabulary building, etc. I advise you to go on reading books, novels, etc. meantime that you're still young.

Looks like the book has portrayed a reflection of pains and struggles of a girl. Such kind of book really influences us.

I haven't read this book but have heard this story time and time again. A powerful person will live through such a story and it will be powerful to read about. I am glad to hear that she escapes and is able to start a new life. Maybe some of your readers will get the book on Amazon and read it.
