Even republicans don't agree with Romney's foreign policy, and military spending

Rand Paul said he is dismayed by Mitt Romney's "Mantle of Leadership" speech. He questions Romney's addition of $200 BILLION in the military budget, and calls for cutting waste not adding hundreds of billions from China. He also pointed out that we shouldn't be talking about starting another war in Syria.
Seeing how the next debate is about foreign policy, and Romney's plan is already being attacked by memeber of his own party. Should Obama use the comments from Rand Paul against him in the debate?

Fat, I thought polls didn't matter?
The only foreign policy experience Romney has is where to hide his money!!!!!!!

First, it is Rand Paul. I don't think I need to say more about that.
A strong military is essential to a strong country. Part of the reason that the Middle East fell apart was the weakness of President Obama.
No, we shouldn't be talking about another war in Syria. The fact that President Obama has been talking about it should scare you especially with the reduction in the military spending.
All Romney has to do is point to a big map of the Middle East and he wins by default.

Rand Paul is very popular in the republican party, and he is a Tea Party favorite.
We have a strong military today, and $200 BILLION more borrowed from China, isn't going to cost justify itself.
Mitt Romney is the one talking about going to war with Syria.
Rand Paul points out CORRECTLY that our military budget is bloated, and has become a dumping ground for congressional pet projects. There was an article yesterday about congress ordering more tanks, that the military doesn't want or need, when they have tanks sitting around doing nothing.
Obama can point to the middle east and run down the list of terrorist that he has killed, and the civility that has been brought to the middle east since he was elected. If Romney thinks he can win the foreign policy debate just by showing up, Obama will wipe the floor with him. What is Mitt Romney's foreign policy experience?
The only foreign policy experience he has is finding spots to hide his money!!!!

What a second am I reading that you are actually agreeing with Rand Paul? I think I am in shock.
This is a fairly recent article on President Obama talking about military action in Syria. Again, that should concern you especially since Obama (unlike Romney) can actually order troops to go in there. This is a New York Times article not something from Fox News.

So yes, I am concerned that President Obama could get us into another war fairly soon. That possibility is very real if reelected.
Romney gets a little pass here because he like the rest of us don't have all the intel information that President Obama is privileged to. Remember President Obama didn't have any either.
Romney can wipe the floor with President Obama just by saying Libya. That little controversy is growing by the minute.

I am not really a Rand supporter, I like his dad more. I would have voted for his dad if he ran as an independent.
Romney is getting intel briefings just like the president does.
What is Romney's foreign policy experience? He has NONE!!! Obama has supported the INTERNATIONAL community in Libya, and has eliminated most of the top members of Al Qaeda. Most of our troops are out of Iraq, and will be out of Afghanistan. You haven't heard much from North Korea, and Iran is feeling the hurt from sanctions. Obama's foreign policy credentials are pretty good especially in comparison to Romney's........well he has NO foreign policy experience (expect in finding places to hide his money, I would LOVE to hear Obama say that in the debate)!!!!

Bob, he isn't George W. Bush!!!!! What foreign policy experience does Romney have? We all remember his foreign policy trip he took, where he pissed off every country he went to. And, saw his horse compete in the Olympics, and pissed the Brits off there to!!!!!
Bob, it was one of your own pointing out that Romney's foreign policy is a joke. And, this guy supports Romney!!!

Deb, the FACT is that you would NOW be replacing someone with great successes in foreign policy with someone who's only experience in foreign policy is hiding money, and buying cheap labor!!!!
That would be a blow to our foreign policy, and Rand Paul agrees with me!!!

LOL....You really need to stop fixating on Bush. REALLY!
What experience did Obama have in foreign policy when elected? Going to Pakistan with his roommate? A country so HOSTILE to America they put the doctor who pointed out Osama to us in jail for 30 yrs. And who harbors al Qaeda even now.

Debater, there are a lot of Republicans and not every body will like every thing about Romney, heck, there are plenty of Republicans that do not like Romney at all. But we all do agree that we have to get Obama out of the White House. Now, on to Rand Paul. This would be Ron Paul's son, Ron Paul IS still running for the office of President. It also stands to reason that Rand Paul, as you stated, is a favorite of the Tea Party. One of the main stances of the Tea Party is less spending. So it is pretty obvious that he wouldn't like that extra $200 billion to the military. They are for LESS government and tightening budgets. So I guess Rand Paul being against Romney's plan to spend more just makes sense and shows that Paul stands by his values. Should Obama use the comments? Of course he should. Will he? Why bother when you have big bird? oh yeah, Big Bird wants to be left out of this.

As much as I really like Ron Paul and am disappointed he decided to retire....I have to respect his decision. I won't be writing his name in. Plus my state and many others do not allow write ins. So I am going with Johnson.

Did I miss something? Ron Paul is still running for president? Did he declare on a third party or as an independent? Cause last I heard he said he was retiring. He didn't even run for re-election for his seat in Texas. Once the primary was over and he lost he said he was retiring. That I know of none of the states have him on the ballot and he said he was going to vote third party ( wouldn't say if it was for Johnson or Goode).

Yes there are conservatives that want to cut military spending and stop being the world police. But the GOP calls them crazy, fringe and not "real" republicans because they aren't warmongers. Sad isn't it?
