it was quite expensive. it is for $250 for the air fair and the hotel. I was not able to ask if that includes the food already. but it does not include any tour. It just include the place to stay and the food i guess but i have not actually asked about the food, i think she said breakfast. but i don't expect to be a good food at all. that is for boracay. but they don't have any price quote yet for january. so i have to ask maybe by the end of the december for the price quote as the price given was only for this month.

What does the $250 include? I mean how many nights in a hotel? I am not sure about the price level in the Philippines, but in my country $250 would be a very cheap package tour. That price would only cover 2 nights in a hotel without the plane ticket. Unfortunately my country is not a cheap place to travel. When we bought our trip to Asia I noticed that the prices where much lower than the prices that I am used to from my own country and many tourist find my country very expensive. I hope that you will find a cheap package tour. Enjoy your trip

yeah i think that would be cheap already for other countries. but it is just a local tour. it is not that far from my place and so the rate is just local. i don't think this would be a good hotel at all.

Usually these travel agencies have a cut on the prices and this is the reason why its expensive. If you know your way, might as well buy an early ticket directly to the airline company. Research a good place to stay and the sites you will visit. Perhaps this way, you can save.

Sometimes if you book in advance you pay more, I know some agents that slash the prices of the package tours if you book last minute. I think you need to know for sure if it includes food because that would be a major consideration when going away. I prefer to have all inclusive, otherwise if you are buying your meals out or buying food all the time then it becomes really expensive on top of the flight and accommodation. Maybe if you have the time if possible to shop around more. Have you considered looking online?

I might be able to help. Although I dont offer tours, my packages do include car rental so you could actually create your own tour at your own convenience so let me know via private message if you want the link.

I guess it is too expensive if it is someplace near to your home. I mean, is it too long to drive? If you can drive, you can carry food from home and then, it helps you cut down on eating out costs. You can probably eat out for dinner but have lunch and snacks from whatever you carry from home. If we calculate, does it include for people? Then, if the air fare is $150 for two and $100 for hotel, for a round trip and 2 days stay, it may not be too bad. Continental breakfasts are free in some hotels. However, as you rightly say, they may not be too good. You can continue to check for deals on expedia and hotwire..or even orbitz..maybe they will open January dates by end of October..
