Cinderella sympthon

Hello friends, some years ago, almost 20 years, I went to therapy, and my therapist told me I had the Cinderella sympthon. He meant that I tended to act like Cinderella did on the movie. He made me think about it. First I get mad, because I felt offended but later on I realized that he was trying to tell me that I used to work without asking for help. It wasn´t easy to me to act over, but now almost 20 years late, I can tell you that Cinderella role has almost gone. I ask for help, I ask my family to get involved in household chores, and I can work with better life quality attending my eshop, and studying piano, since I get paid for playing it at mass. It hasn´t been so easy, because working in team means to trust in your team. And trust and loyalty weren`t ingredients of my prime home. Have you realized ever you had the Cinderella sympthon? Have you done anything to change it? How did you feel? Share! Blessings... dainy

Yes! When I heard it for first time I was annoyed too, but it has sense. Isn´t it? I should be humble and accept help, or be wise and know when to trust others and ask for help, recognize my own force. Don`t you think so? Blessings professor... dainy

Thank you for enlightening me on what is called the "Cinderella Symptom". It is good that you asked for help and do not burdened yourself with all the work. All of us must have time for ourselves to do the things we like. Life is more meaningful and happier that way. We should have teamwork and live a fruitful life together, spend quality time and bonding too

Andy helping me in the kitchen - Since I were at hospital I realized I needed help. Now, I make children help me with their rooms, in the kitchen, with their uniforms and with my eshop. This help makes me happier!
Hi Iriene you are right. I grew up with a nanny, and she did everything for us. She was really lovely. But we didn`t work in team at home. I always was an A student. That was my work, just studying. So when I got married I adopted the Cinderella Symptom, but after 10 years of hard work one sunday I reached hospital. After the hospital I realized I needed help. I have a home helper, that helps me with laundry, cleaning floors and bathrooms, I set an eshop 5 years ago, and still work on it, and I organize kids to help me at their rooms, uniforms, and kitchen. It´s been hard to learn the lesson, but I`m making my best effort. Thanks you for your advice!... blessings? iriene... dainy

Well if I don't ask for help some people get mad at me.Then i have other's get mad at me if I do ask for help.Right now with the presidential election one runner say's that if you are asking for any financial help from the government no matter what the reason is illness, disability, loss of work....whatever the case may be then you are a "moucher".

Hello dfollin! Could you explain me what does "moucher" means? English isn´t my primary lenguage, so I haven`t read it before, and I looked it at the online dictionary, and I didn`t find it. Thanks you! Blessings!

I have a friend, my best friend in fact, who is like that. Worse still, she extends her work to other people who don`t live in ther house. And while it`s very generour of her (apparently) I have told her many times that charity starts at home and that she must find time for her husband too.

Hello dear friend Marguicha, you are so right. Have you heard this say: candle of the street, darkness of your house? It is very healthy to keep balance in life. Don´t you think so? Thanks you for sharing friend. Blessings Marguicha... dainy
