Doing Things for Others

Some people, when they do something, or give something, it is either they are asking for something in return, or see their deeds as something which should never be forgotten by their recipient. However, I believe that when you are giving or doing something for others, they should not always voice out that or keep repeating it to the person they did it for. Or else, they should have not done it in the first place. What do you think?

It is important that you should always treat other people in the way that you would like to be treated yourself. I try to do a lot for my friends if there is any way that I can do so because of the fact that I like to let people know that I will always be there for them when they need me. It is partly selfish because this means that I know that I have a lot of people who almost owe me a favour, so that whenever there has been anything that goes wrong in my life I know that I will have somebody that I would be able to rely on.

And some people keep an account mentally or whatever and if you don't do something for them within a certain amount of time then they start acting nasty with you and you don't understand at first what is going on. I think that doing something nice for someone should come from the heart and not be expected to be recipricated.

It has been a nature of mine to really seek ways in order to help others. There are certain times that to some extent, it prejudices myself however, I still find it very pleasant and overwhelming.

Yeah so true. Today when people help others there is an expectation behind that. sometimes or another they will want the favor back for this favor and it is bad. I think when you do something, do it with your heart and without any expectation. then God gives you with your cup overflowing. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

i agree with you. it is good for us to do things for others even though we get nothing as return, i like helping others, if i can do some things for others, i would do it. that makes me happy and can make me have a good relationship with others around me. so when i meet some problems and want some help, there are always people helping me, it is so good.
