setting daily goals

I work full time, I have a second job that I work about 6 hours a week at, and I still try and find time to make money online. I am concerned with the state of the economy, and want to have as much in savings as possible in case something happens with my job or my husband's job. That being said, I try and set a daily goal on at least one of my earning sites each day. With mylot, I do not get the immediate feedback of how much I have earned and have to wait until the following day to find out if I met that goal. To me that is a bit frustrating, but I still enjoy the site so I stay on. Today I set a goal on swagbucks.com-well swagbucks set the goal, and I have already met that. Now I am trying to earn 2000 points on toluna.com as well. I am close to being able to cash out on toluna and would like to soon so I have the money for christmas.

I also work in the day time and I also busy with other things at night . i try to spend at least 3 hours on mylot but lately I am kinda slaking . I am also on swag bucks , I like playing the game to earn point and I recently start doing task , I dont get much survey because I am not living in the states. What is "toluna" about ? how many points do you need to cash out ? and how many cash is that ? I also try to set daily goals but not really on earning anymore but now on my online activity .

toluna.com is a site that has quick polls, surveys, and discussions. 60,000 points is cash out and that is $20 USD.

I also set my daily goal as well. I realize that nowadays I have less time to earn from online, only for few minutes to few hours. That's why I need to set a target; it helps much for scheduling my time well. It's not that much; my daily goal is just one dollar a day, from various sites. I don't care with what sites that I should use on one particular day, as long as I am being able to earn a dollar.. :)

right now swagbucks is setting a goal daily, and if you reach that goal they are giving you a bonus, an if you reach it a certain number of days in the month you get an additional bonus. I am doing my best to take advantage of those bonuses.

I think that it is very important that we all set goals that we should be trying to reach when we are working day to day. I always like to get everything done around the house that I need to get done in the morning for example, as this then means that I am able to use my afternoons to get everything else done that I need in order to earn myself some money. It is fantastic because I can know exactly how much I am going to get done and when I am going to do it, and I also know that I will have more than enough money to pay the bills this way.

Hi Asyria, I work full time too and everyday before leaving work I make a list of what I'm going to do on the next day, I call it my "to do" list. At home I also have a list of things to do and "note to self" list. These are also my daily goals. I have not set a goal for my online activities. After reading your discussion, I made a note to myself: set online goals.

I live in the U.S. I have built earning online into my morning routine. I get up and check several of my sites, before working out. After cooling down, I spend a few more minutes before I go and shower to get ready for the day. As I eat breakfast I do a few more things. I also am able to check a few of my sites at lunch each day, some like mylot are blocked.

Goals are great to have, they help one succede and what they want to do. I think having a job and trying to earn online is a good idea. As one never knows when he or she needs a few extra dollars for something. U have a great plan there. keep to it.

The last few years I have earned enough online to pay for all of my Christmas/birthday gifts. This year I am right on course for the same thing. Especially when some of my sites offer "deals" on e-gift cards to places like walmart and amazon.

I had set my goal when I started online. That was my ultimate goal, to earn enough to buy a car. But as to the daily goal, perhaps I could reconsider having this one when I read you post. Thank you for sharing this discussion with us. You just gave me an idea. What if our goal is to make better everyday? To get more than what we get yesterday. So, this way we aim to aim for a better performance. At the end of the day, we could say to ourselves, I made better today than my yesterday's performance. What can you say about this?

I appreciate your prudence for future. Hard days may come when none will be beside us. So lay each and every cents for and take the way of a frugal living. Days are passing good today and will pass the worst tomorrow. Stay fine.
