Hillary's turn under the bus

The new scapegoat for the administration - The State Department, ie Secretary of State Hilary Clinton. During the ever entertaining Vice Presidential debate, VP Joe Biden claims that the issue of security at the embassy in Libya was not relayed to the White House. That it stopped at the State Department. I'm curious how Clinton will deal with this. I have noticed she has been awfully quiet. What do you think may be the blow back from this? Do you think Clinton will turn on Obama? There has been an ongoing "feud" between the Obama's and the Clinton's. What do you think will happen next?

CBS News reports that Sect. Clinton is taking full responsibility for the Benghazi Attack. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-201_162-57532916/report-sec-clinton-takes-responsibility-for-benghazi-attack/ This reminds me of the Waco incident, when Attorney General Reno took full credit for the disaster to protect President Clinton. It seems that Democrats need women around when things go wrong so they can take the blame. Maybe if President Obama had attended his daily briefings or at least read them he would have known there was trouble coming. It seems that there also needs to be better communication between the Dept of State and the White House. There needs to be more talking and less visiting with the Hollywood elite.

I just saw this today. My first thought? Wow I have not heard this in over 4 years "I am responsible". She made a statement more presidential than anything Obama has ever said. I still think there will be some awful blow back. I do not see the Clintons letting this go..... we will see, pass the popcorn

Thinking this over I see it as a smart move on Secty. Clinton. By taking responsibility she is showing loyalty to the President at the same time she is cementing hers and her husbands control over the Democrat Party. She knew the media would not really blame her but the conservative media would be all over it and defending her which would help her with the moderate and liberal Republicans when she makes her run for President. I would bet that President Obama was seething when she announced that she was taking responsibility. There was no way out for hem. He couldn't step in and take the blame and he can't criticize her for it nor could he fire her over it with out being seen as a bully. She got the best of both worlds.

It's really sad that the only one acting "presidential" in all this is the secretary of state. It's like Obama said, "The buck stops with Hillary", wait... that doesn't sound right... Where was the buck supposed to stop?

well better her than me...right? I find it amazing the people willing to fall on their sword for Obama. But I really think Clinton has a plan here. She is no dummy

Hillary Clinton has been shafted every since she took the Secretary of State job. She has been constantly bailing out the Obama campaign since day 1.

I agree, but I think this might be the straw that breaks the camels back!
