New Show Surprises

I have watched many of the new television shows and am surprised that the one I can't wait to see again is on the CW Network. Arrow is one of the few new shows I was happy to see the same episode twice, as watched it online and on television. The story line is good and really like the casting selections. The first few episodes of Revolution caught my attention, but watching the ratings drop each week has me concerned that I may not get a conclusion. I hate to invest lots of time into a show and not learn the conclusion. Partners I have tried watching twice and sadly like the actors, but the show isn't funny. I was hoping to see the man from Ugly Betty be on a hit show, but think Michael needs to start looking elsewhere. I enjoyed Beauty and the Beast; however, am hoping more people tune in for the 2nd episode. It has a great time slot on the network so we shall see if more people decide to try it next week. What is your favorite new show? Did you watch any shows online this week?

I have seen Arrow and I can understand why you are looking forward to seeing more of it,I have seen the first episode of it and I can't wait for the second episode to become available.Unfortunately because I live in the UK I have to wait longer till I can see the episode. This wait is increased by the fact I don't have television so I have to wait for it to be put on a catch up TV website.I think Arrow has the potential of having a few decent series its probably the series I am most excited about at the moment. The other two programmes I watch without missing are Strike back vengeance and Boardwalk Empire.

Several people have suggested I check out Boardwalk Empire, so will watch when the shows go into reruns in the United States. Arrow had over 5 million viewers, which is unheard of for a CW Network Show, as the network doesn't air on the television in all areas of the United States, so its harder to watch the show. I did watch the show on my television and online, as enjoyed the first episode so much that I watched it again. This is unusual for me, but wanted to help bring in better ratings for a show I really want to see get a renewal. Thanks for posting.

I really like Beauty and the Beast partly because I am a big Kristin Kreuk fan. I also like Arrow and I'm glad I gave it a chance which I almost didn't do. I'm a big fan of another CW show, Nikita, which starts its new season this Friday. I've been watching Revolution and like it in spite of the very implausible premise of the power going out and the pendants being able to turn it back on. I have a science background and I just can't conceive of any way for these things to happen; especially for the pendant to cause someones cell phone to work 15 years after the power went out. I have liked some of the twists like the recent one that showed that the mother left the family because of Charlie's Uncle's request; this will certainly cause problems when Charlie learns about it. Another new show I like is Elementary which is certainly a whole new twist to the Sherlock Holmes "story" and it is one I like since most of the old version were fairly boring in my opinion.

Thanks for posting. Arrow sure is doing well in the ratings, so now CW has another hit. Its good because several shows aren't doing well (line-ups on Monday and Tuesday). Of course, Gossip Girl gone soon and think the new Tuesday Show won't make it. I know many of my friends think the 8:00 pm Tuesday Show shouldn't have been renewed. I'm not happy with her choice of neither. Revolution - I do like the twist with Charlie's Mother and think that will be an interesting story line into the future. The last episode aired really was good and the ratings were up. I'm watching Elementary and liked the last episode. Lucy was so good on Southland that I tuned in to see her. I really like the idea of a female Watson. The music is great on the show.

I have not watched Arrow, but it is on my DVR. I waited a little while because I wasn't sure if I wanted to watch a show where the guy cheated on his girlfriend with her sister. Yes, I know, that's not the point of the show, but I was concerned I couldn't root for a character who would do that. But after Stealthy answered a few of my questions, I plan to watch it and anticipate liking it. I have watched Beaty and the Beast and was surprised that I enjoyed it. I was surprised because it got a beating in the reviews. They said the two stars had no chemistry. I didn't think that at all. Although I'm not crazy about Kristin Kreuk, I liked her in this role and thought she and the male lead had great chemistry. And I was happy to see the ratings weren't as bad as I thought they would be. And finally I got to Elementary. It's nice to see Aiden Quinn on television, and Lucy Liu in a role where I liked her! As for new comedies, I've talked about Go On, but I'm losing hope with The Mindy Project. Mindy Kaling is funny, but her show just isn't living up to what I thought she would bring to a show. And Animal Practice with the wonderful Joanna Garcia Swisher was so lame there are no words to describe it.

Thanks for posting on this article. I watched Smallville to see the men on the show and like Kristin in the Beauty and the Beast role. One reason I think they wanted him to cheat is for us to see how human he is and that people can change drastically and we all have made mistakes during our lives. We get to really feel for this character. I am still behind and have a few shows to catch up on like Elementary. I'm watching a few shows online now, as it takes less time to watch a show.
