I saw this in the Bell Church in my hometown, I can't resist to imagine that this figure warrior used to be seen in some movies.

Cool statue. Is that made of bronze or...? I wonder what movie it would have been in. There is a burial site with many soldiers and this looks like one of them.

Yes, it is made of bronze. This is not a burial area, it is in the Chinese temple in my country.

No. I meant that the soldier you show in the picture reminded me of ones I saw at this burial site. They were buried with the king(what do they call them?) and there were 100's of them.

This is a striking and impressive figure indeed! I am sure I have seen just such a one in a movie before, I am sure!

It probably has, but I have not seen any of those movies since the 1970s and they might have to be dubbed for us to understand it. Weget a lot of movies over here with the Seattle Tower in them, the Brooklyn Bridge, Toronto Tower, depending on where the movie was made and in the old movies, we get a lot of war screens that were shot by the original photographers.

Is this a Chinese Warrior? I only see them in movies. What's the history behind that statue and why was it build there? Just curios. Anyway, yes, I only see these in movies haven't even seen a statue or image of warriors in my hometown even if we have a rich history.

Do you go to the church a lot ? Having some faith can help in many things in life :) I just wonder what that Chinese statue has to do in a church... Is there any history with Christianity and Chinese warriors ? Wouldn't the world be safer if all of the weapons were swords and all of that stuff ? It would make wars a lot slower and less deadly...:(

I have seen such Chinese statues in many TV programs, they are just amazing. Historical assets of the people.
