yes. friends. today morning we shifted to Ajax -- This is a new house my daughter and son in law have bought. I appreciate the movers Raj movers =-- he took five hours to complete the task. In that group there were two students -- one studying second year mechanical engineering belonging to Punjab and another boy from Caribbean islands also of the same degree. I appreciate these boys for the hard work they do on a weekly day-- probably they may earn $80 or so per day. But that is really good. Also Rogers came and arranged for internet immediately. They had blocked the connection earlier and turned on immediately. superb service. That is why i am able to log in today itself. I do not know how many friends are from Canada here and especially from Ajax. I know our friends will give their blessings to my daughter's family for excellent stay in the new house.

I thought Ajax is located on Holland.. (from Ajax Amsterdam, a soccer team, lol ) I have one question, though. You are active on several earning sites, right? Do you notify them, including myLot, that you have been moved? I think there might be problem if they detect you accessing site from somewhat far-different IP? Apart from that, enjoy your stay.

You know, that is an interesting question. I use my laptop most of the time, occasionally the desk top, though. I have used other people's computers when I travel. I also will load a USB stick and do my earning sites on the road and in other locations. Nothing has ever been said about it.

Varier I think there is no bar in accessing the mylot from any internet provider-- it can be from a flight also. there is no special mention about it. I have been mentioning in my discussions about my movement to canada, usa, etc.

Some sites, usually GPTs (and also Paypal ) will start to investigate you if you're accessing the sites from different country. That's why I am a bit concerned about it.. Seems like it doesn't apply on myLot..

When you must travel so far it is good to have a nice long visit. I thought I remembered that you have an important teaching position in your home country.

Shifting to new and own house is always exciting. My best wishes to the family. How is Ajax climatic conditions? The services are good there and this never happens here, this is what i don't like about India. The students there, work while they study, we can never find any one here working in such small jobs while studying, its like some kind of prestige issue for us.

prashu yes I wanted to share the industriousness of students --one boy was from Punjab and another from Caribbean islands. they worked nicely. it is also true chances may not be that many in our places because they do not have contacts with business men. thanks for your best wishes. Ajax - climate is now it is 50 deg f. like that. cold outside. inside house heating system used.

ravi, so you have moved! And it sounds like a very pleasant one, indeed. Glad to hear that. Blessings on your daughter and son-in-law's new house. I wish them a lifetime of happiness and love there with their families. I see you were pleased with the movers. They sound very good by any standards. Excellent. To refuse extra money offered is quite commendable. He will do good in his business. And the two students - did you lecture them for each failing a class, or did you praise them for their good work in moving? I'm glad all went smoothly. And the playground can be viewed from the house, that is good. Ajax, the city named after the HMS Ajax, a Royal Navy cruiser that served in WWII. It is a growing city, is it not? A multicultural atmosphere and home to quite a few sports teams. It sounds like a very good place to live. Are you familiar with the writer Rabindranath Maharaj? He lives in Ajax. He wrote (in 2010, I believe) "The Amazing Absorbing Boy". It has won two awards. It's a very interesting story. And there are many more good things about Ajax. And you will be returning to Chennai in November? How busy you are! That is good. Keep us posted of your travels and adventures. Enjoy your visit in the new house.

The town has a very nice website with lots of information. It was very interesting to me. If it is developing fast there must be good job availability. Maybe I should move to Canada! There are no jobs here where I live.

My dear friend ravisivan, Congratulations respected sir and thanks to share it. I think you know me as a mylotter but I have another identity. Please check your PM box. Mover’s companies are very active in our country to provide their better services. Man who is hard working should always be appreciated. I respect your views. Thanks ^___^ Happy mylotting.

smtrsv: thanks. It seems some movers are good and a few are not. there have been instances wherein movers demand more than what they are eligible. this man asked $450 and when he was offered $500 he refused to accept the excess. that is good conduct and that brings success to him.

Hatley aunty: thanks for your best wishes. internet is good. From here I can see the play ground where children can play -- now nobody is playing because it is cold outside. yes. those boys did good work. they study and work. but both the boys have failed in one subject it seems. that should not be. they should earn, work and complete study on time. aunty -- you might have stayed with your parents in your own house when you were young!. yes. shifting was done in swift way. yes. we had done home work and kept things ready. good day.

How exciting that you've moved from one place to another. I have only had the opportunity to move a couple of times in my life and the one move that I actually remember was a huge headache because of the fact that we did everything ourselves. We were only moving across town, so it wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been. However, it was something that did take a lot of hard work and it was also something that I really wouldn't want to do again. I wish you the best of luck with your new home.

yes, shifting requires planning, and proper execution. in spite of planning we made still there are a lot of packets to be opened. We packed things in boxes, labelled the room number on top of it. boxes were kept in respective rooms and this helped us.

Ajax seems to be a nice place to live in. Good for you and your family. I already watched a video from Ajax in Youtube, and I found the city very nice. She is on the coast and has pretty streets. I think that you will spend a great time there. Greetings to Ajax.
