Yeah, the Dragonball by the Americans was not very good at all, they should have made the Japanese people star in it. This movie was really good though, i just watched it yesterday and it was wonderfully shot, the action scenes were so awesome.
I hope they make it a tv series.

I have watched the trailer and it seems good. I love the original anime as this is one of the first anime that I watched. I don't listen to a lot of reviews as sometimes, it is not consistent at all. I am going to watch it leave it to myself to decide.

Yes, I did find a 1997 anime series on Netflix. I know nothing about it. Probably wouldn't be interested in it because it is anime. My granddaughter liked that type of art and she might have seen it.

I think the artistry is lovely on alot of it. I just don't get into the stories because they are usually in a foreighn language and are subscripts and I hate those.

This is the first that I've heard of it. By the way, it's Rurouni meaning "Wandering Samurai"--but a "Rouni" is a "masterless samurai". Well, anyways, I hope they didn't destroy it. A lot of good anime were being destroyed by the Americans. Don't get me started because I knew quite a lot, starting from Transformers to almost anything else.

They decided to show it in live action, BabyCheetah, it seems that's what this discussion is about.
First I got a news it's Full Metal Panic years ago. And now this. I don't think I would want to watch considering that their version of Blood is not that great as it was in the anime. Sorry but I really just rather stay with my childhood anime imagination for a little bit longer!

Oh the Americans can't ruin it because it's Japanese, unless of course they decide to ruin it with a really bad dub of it, I sure hope not! I haven't seen it yet either so I am hoping it is good as well. I didn't seem to see Aoshi in the trailer though so I really hope he is in this film, he has to be surely

who is Ruroni Kenshin, dear friend? i ever read Japanese comics. the title is Samurai X. the main character is Kenshin. he is a great Samurai. he kills many people and that's why people call him 'Batosai' means 'the slaughter'. but in them journey if his life, he wants to turn to be a good person. he becomes a Samurai who defend justice and finally marries a good woman. are we talking about same Kenshin? or not? lol. if we are talking about same Kenshin and tgen Warner Bros has filmed about his life, wow..i should be the in the first libe to watch that movie in the cinema or get the DVD..lol..because Samurai X is my favorite comics and i fall in love to Kenshin. actually, Japan has already made Samurai X into serial cartoon movie and broadcasted on TV. i watched it too but if Hollywoid makes it, it must be more exciting..cant wait to watch it..! \^o^/

Samurai X is the title given to the anime but the original title of the story is Rurouni Kenshin. Yes, we are talking about the same Shinta, also known as Batousai--the Slasher--or Himura, Kenshin.
Unlike you, I fear that I will come to hate the Hollywood more if they try to even remake the story.

Whoops! I misspelled. It's "Battousai"
Gomen nasai! ("I'm sorry!")

Actually as far as I'm aware Samurai X is the english name. The Japanese call it Rurouni Kenshin which is much better

I was looking forward to watching this live-action, partly because it's Rurouni Kenshin, and partly because Sato Takeru is the actor casting as Kenshin!. He never act in historical drama or film, so the thought of him in samurai outfit feels weird somehow. I agreed that i hope no more anime related movie is corrupted by Hollywood like what happened to Dragonball.

I seen it on youtube trailer and I also seen it on internet. I really want to watch that movie and so, if I have enough time, I am going to buy DVD too or better download it on internet.
