Then which things would you like him to do in your home? I would like to have my lounge repainted and him to put up wallpaper around my fireplace. I would like new curtains to be put up in my lounge. I have made my lounge have a seaside sort of style. You see I bought seaside like striped cushions and seaside ornaments. I would like him to put in a new bathroom comprising of a toilet, basin, whirlpool bath and shower. I would love to have blue tiles on the wall. I would help the handyman with his work to get ever such a lot done over the weekend. If he had time I would get him to put a new pink carpet into my daughter's bedroom. How about you?

If I had a home... I would probably have him go to my mother-in-laws house, she needs a lot of stuff fixed since her house is older. I guess he could start in the basement and go room by room. She needs a lot of stuff updated so I would change out the light fixtures and ceiling fans and probably put up some new blinds. Yea, I think I could keep him there for a few days, or weeks.

My first priority would be a new floor from the living room. The floor is really old and ugly (the previous owner covered the floor with rugs instead of changing the floor). We recently got a rug from my parents and that covers some of the worst parts of the floor, but I would prefer to get a brand new floor There are a couple of other things in the house that I would like to change, but those things are less important. I would like to change to them, but I don't HAVE to change them so they aren't my first priority. I would like a different floor in the hall, new kitchen cabinets and a larger bathtub in the bathroom.

It really depends whether we get to pay for the materials or the materials goes free withe the work as well. If it was only a free labor then I guess I could only name very few like getting our backyard fixed, repairing the sink in the bathroom and some minor repairs to the roof. However, if it was the latter, then I would have a lot of things wanted done, although I highly doubt it could be finished in one weekend, like repainting, finishing up the walls of a new room, and a whole lot more.

My first thing would be that there are some tiles on the floor in my bathroom that have come loose, so I would definitely want to have those remounted. The backyard could use some work because it is overgrown so that would be the second thing that I would ask for. Then I would love to have a handyman to help us to put up some new cabinets in our kitchen and install our dishwasher. Other than that, I feel like the rest of the things that we need to have done are too big of jobs for one weekend.

New deck is the first thing. followed by fencing in the yard. Then we need new gutters. If there was still time then I would put him to work scraping off the stucco type paint job that the previous owners put in several of the rooms. Then replace the dishwasher which is on its last legs. I need my hardwood floors restained as well.

The one room that needs renovation the most in our home is the bathroom. I'd like a total renovation as everything there now is very old. So I think it will be more than a weekend job as we need to take everything apart first including an old big bath tub which looks really hard or heavy to take apart.

Wow for a whole weekend? I reckon with the amount of problems and work that needs doing in our house we'd need him for a month. Sadly our house is in disrepair, my dad will not spend out the money to get anything done, another story... I would love a new ceiling in my bedroom, my one is still damp when we had a flood, years ago, we'd need all the house painting, all the window sills replacing and the list goes on, remember the song by Shakin Stevens This Ole House! That's ours sadly. Plus there is so much work to be done in the garden. I try to do most of the gardening but it is far too much for one person. I think the handiman would have to come with a bucketload, or even a truckload of cash too!

Hi Maxine, I appreciate your great idea. In my case first I want to change my main door. It would be replaced by teak with ornamental design. I shall change all the curtains of windows. The curtains would be light sky blue. My bathroom fittings are old fashioned. These will be replaced with modern fittings. Bathroom tiles have become old and dirty. These would also be replaced. I wish to have a bathtub. But there is no enough space in my bathroom to place a tub. So it would not be possible.

Ok lets try this again. my response before this didnt work so im going to re type it. I work for a handyman construction company. I know that it taeks a while for the jobs you do. Not all handyman people now how to do tile or put up wallpaper for that matter. You need to get a painter to install wallpaper, and then you need a tile, flooring company to do that for you. I know its alot of work but maybe if you wont something you won lets say 500 dollars with a handyman company. Then you can choose what you would like done. For isntance for tile work we are at 55 an hour and then to put up wallpaper i think its 45 an hour and that would be the painter as well. To do one roomof painting usually takes 8 hours if you need two coats done. Just giving you an example.

I would like to have my bathroom`s ceramics changed as some are broken. I woul also like to paint the living and dining room with a brigher shade of paint. I think that it would take the whole weekend of hard work to get those things done
