after 29 long years me and my batch mate in high school decided to have a class reunion and after three years preparation we finally able to have our memorable reunion.Our reunion was held in our school alma mater we also donated a worthwhile project and that was 5 comfort rooms inside the classroom..our batch mates are so generous and we are all thankful that almost our batch mate are so successful in their own field of endeavor and have families. on the first day that we meet for our parade the excitement was there reminiscing all our experiences during high school some of our teachers already retired some still teaching..how ever not all have the same fate our batch president sponsored a scholarship in college a 4 yr course the son of our batch mate because among us he is the only one who never had a graduate and he is in need to be help.during our reunion we spend an overnight in a resort including husband or wife and their kids it was so wonderful to see how we evolved and how life after high school. its so nice experience we enjoy we rekindle the lost friendship and we say thanks to all our teacher.when they are sharing their stories we laugh we cried and clap for all their achievements..yes high school friends never out of our system it remains for who we are now..how about you do u still have contacts from your high school friends?

Hi friend, good to hear about this reunion. Surely this kind of get together will give more fun and enjoyment to us. I have contacts with few of my school and college friends using the social sites and come to know about their updates using it

why not initiate a reunion same here we initiated contacting them through social media wow a great help this fb and the rest...try to know them back up close and personal hehehehe you will see its better to see them ratehr thru email updates or chat..good luck...thanks

Our high school batch will be celebrating our 25th High School Reunion next year. We are all excited! We have come up with fund raising activities to support the expenses that will be needed during the event. And yes, high school life is the bet years of our lives!

I am also do agree with your statement that high school friends are the most treasured ones. Even after 7 years, I am still in contact with my friends. I don't know what makes them different from others but still I love to be with them always. They are so true and helpful and stand my side in any condition. I believe that they are the real gifts in my life.

i like your words real gifts in life you so correct as i said those are the friendship that is pure honest and no self vested interest purely friendship which you can lean on and always share and always as u said in ur side..a freind that you can count on..yes why its different right?

I also love my schoolmates and when I meet them it gives me happy mood.
School days are really those days when I grow in mind and physically a lot. It is always a good experience.

]You are so lucky that you can have a reunion with your high school friends. I work in a different city which is far from where I have my high school, and usually I have a busy work, so I seldom go back that place. I even have no contacts with anyone from my high school friends, as they work in different places , too. It's pity that friends can't meet for a long time. I only had a reunion with my college students four years ago, it's a sweet memory

you know what friend we meet only after 29 years thru facebook thanks so much in social media we reconnected some friends initiated to connect one by one imagine soem are from u.s.a Australia. middle east and other part of the world yet because of the internet nothing is impossible you try to connect them and you will see and feel what I try to share here..same here we are all busy yet we find time..hope next time u can share too...goodluck

Oh. I can really relate to this. I also believe that the best friends to treasure are the ones who are in high school. :) They are so true and not plastic. I got more friends in high school than of in university. The bond is so tight. We see to it that we have to meet atleast once a year. I mean, the gathering. But I usually go out with my girl high school friends sometimes but not too often.

yes the friendship u started in high school are pure no self vested interest that is why even how many years past by you will admired and treasured your friends in high school the feelings is different right? hmpp i missed them again...

I had a lot of very good friends when I was in high school, and it is a shame that I am not still in touch with more of them because we had such a good time while we were there. I am friends with three of them and I see them regularly apart from during term time because we are all at university in different places. But in the holidays we always have a very good time because it is good to be able to catch up with the people who you haven't seen for a long time, and see how their lives have changed.

I am still in touch with one of my friends from high school. She lives in another part of the country now, and we don't meet in person, but we sometimes chat on Facebook. I would like to meet her again, and maybe we will have the chance to meet in the future and chat in person, that would be very nice. I met another high school friend in a pub some years ago, it was so nice to see him again and we chatted for a while about the things that had happened since high school. It could be very interesting to have a reunion like the one you had and meet some of the other friends from high school, because I don't know where they are today or what they are doing.

Yes indeed, they say that high school life is the most unforgettable part of schooling ages by far. I can relate here since we recently have a class reunion last year. Though we are not 100% present on those dates, we really enjoyed it. We shared funny stories and exchange some emotional events. I admit, I really learned some lessons during that time. Hope I can find a way to have a constant communication with my batchmates to relive the good old days. Thanks

I think this is because high school is that stage wherein we started to be young men and women but not quite so, we started having grown-up problems but not so much. Almost all life's firsts happen during high school that is why this is the most memorable.
My batch held our reunion 2 years ago; unfortunately I wasn't able to attend because I was based in another country then. We are planning for another one but unfortunately, I have some impending travels coming up once more and I think I will not be able to attend once more. But we'll see.
