Sneaking out the gifts could be a great idea/strategy....

Sneaking out with the gifts that my niece received during her birthday the other day really help a lot to me plus the suggestions that I got here.
I saw some gave her dolls, educational stuffs like coloring books, clothes an some girly stuff toys.
While seeing those gifts, I end up buying stuffed toys since no one gave it to her and at the same time she could cuddle it while sleeping. So far she's liking it.
I guess sneaking out with the gifts turn out to be a great strategy for me to buy gift that might different from the others, that she might like and might not double or be the same with other gifts.

Certainly good idea; because there should not me 2 or 3 of the same kind, children don't like,thanks for sharing

Yeah it turn out to be a great idea, at least it wont get any duplicate at all since I have already seen the others. She didnt noticed that I dont give her any gift that day cause she was too busy playing with her new gift toys.

Since she is your niece and just stays in your house or maybe near your house, it will be easy to sneak on the gifts she received during her birthday.
Indeed, if we want our gift to be with no duplicates , we can always buy the gift later, when the one you thought of isn't one of the gifts.

It always bothers me when i am buying a gift, specially for a kid having birthday, if what i will buy is a duplication of other gifts.
We always want for a unique gift and one that could be loved by the recipient. Thus, when we buy , we really have to canvass and search.

Yes I got a technique of buying gifts now.
I could just buy gift later once I already know gifts that they received so it could give me an idea which gift should I buy that they will surely like.

Ardoy, if your house living nearby your niece, then it is easy to sneak on her toys. Like mine, my relatives are living very far away from me, so i have to play guessing every time i want to buy any gift for them. What i do is, i randomly buy gift for them. Like this year i give stuffed toy, another year i would buy other toy for them. Happy at least, your niece like the toy given by you.

Yeah lucky for me.
I think its the thought that count as they say.Anything will do as long as it comes from the heart and effort of buying it.Receiver should be appreciative into things that they received instead of complaining.

The small party they held turn out to be great. My niece really enjoyed it even his brother too. She liked the gifts that she received.

I gave her a stuffed toy since she dont received any. So far she is enjoying playing her teddy together with her barbie dolls. Seems like new playmate for the barbie.

Yeah nice strategy to give something thats different from what she received. At least what I gave was not duplicate from the others but what important is she like it and enjoy playing it.

I also would want to make the gifts I give as something special. As much as possible I try to think of things unique so that it will out-stand the others. It may sound a bit crazy to some, like having to compete with the other gifts. But I just want to let the receiver of the gift to know that she/he is someone really special and all I wanted is to make her/his day happy.

Yeah something unique and wont duplicate with other gifts but is quite hard sometimes. It is alwas my dilemma everytime I am going to give gifts to someone cause I am not good at it. So sneaking with her gifts gave me an idea which one to give but how about to others. Well I think important is the thought that count as they says.
