Nothing like getting into an argument over wanting to stop two other people from arguing so much. The stupidity never ends. Have you ever been so fed up with other's arguments you told them to stop and then wind up getting into an argument with one or both of those people who were arguing in the first place? I know I should have stayed out of it but this is every Fri and Sat on the road with them. They are getting too old for it and so am I.

I know how you feel. I mostly stay out of it but this morning it was really getting to me and I was sooo overly tired from lack of enough sleep. I actually showed how I felt about something which is a no no around one of the arguers so if I say anything then I get some of the same treatment as she was with the person she was arguing with. How controlling and nasty is that. One day they will get theirs. People like this are true losers. I can't beleive how some live like this. Your parents and grandparents should chill out too.

People who insist on arguing all the time drive me nuts. I don't get into arguments, however; I absolutely refuse. Arguing is a waste of my time and energy.

At times like that I suggest you simply stare at the person and not say anything at all. Just stare at them blankly, or with an eyebrow raised as if asking a silent question. Just wait silently and see what happens.

Some people just arn't happy unless they're either complaining a bout something or arguing with someone about something. There are times when you will naturally get into arguments sometimes but when it's constant, it can be tiring for both the people arguing and people who have to listen to it.

I agree that you should try your best not to argue with people, but there are times that we just can't seem to stop arguing which is a shame. One of the worst things about it is that we always tend to argue with those who we love, and that means that it is always the people who are closest to us who get hurt by the arguments. One of the best things that you can do is to make sure that you're able to talk with the people you argue with to sort your issues out straight away, as there is nothing worse than an argument that goes on for ages.

I must be considered extremely close to some people then, wow. I couldn't believe some of the words used while she argues either. She must have some sort of guilt trip behind all of it. No tact at all. I put her in her place though as it wasn't that hard and she shut up after awhile.

I can't agree with you more. Arguing is so stupid. What happens if you win? Nothing. It means you won. Even if you get a trophy for it, that won't make sense. It might even mean sarcasm or something. I've gotten myself into some stupid arguments and I really feel stupid thinking about them now.

I have had it with one person cause not only does she seem to love to argue but she always has to win the argument. I'm guessing she thinks she always wins too cause people end up not saying anything to her about it. Growl. Or if she thinks she brings up a point that is "right" no one will say anything therefore she thinks she has everything in her favor.

Sure is, no one ever wins. SO why do we all argue sometimes?

You figured that out did you? Was that during an argument? lol I used to argue with my ex and it never got us anywhere. He had an idea in his head and there was no changing it. No matter what the truth was. I haven't done what you did but then I don't live with those folks.
