My boyfriend is studying for his review. I want to lessen his stress.

Hello, guys!
My boyfriend has just graduated from his fifth year. He's an engineering student. Now he has 6 months to prepare for his board exam. He is really serious about it. I'm happy for him because he has accomplished something that his older brothers and sisters never did. I'm very proud of him.
As you all know, studying for a major exam like the board exam is really stressful. I am giving him space in order for him to focus on his studies. I miss him terribly. And we rarely get to see each other nowadays. I want that everytime we see each other, I won't be a burden to him. I want to make him happy.
Do you have any suggestions on how I can make him happy and lessen his stress?? even just a bit? I also want to avoid fights and my nagging tendencies. I think I'm doing pretty well in that.

Aja I really appreciate that you are ready to miss your romance for his studies. One needs to remain stress free to prepare for board exams properly. So whenever you talk to him,ask all normal questions and say funny events and never never let him know that you are missing him. That feeling may distract him from his study routine.

Okay.well I do text him sometimes with a kissing smiley or a miss u or miss call him because that's our code for missing each other. Nowadays I just wait for him to call me or text me. I don't text him unless there's something or important that needed to be said or just plain stuff like missing him and that though I'm not expecting a response because he's very busy and he's on a tight budget meaning he won't have 'load' to respond to me.
In my country we buy 'load' to be able to call or text someone. and it's usually limited for a few days. he buys the cheapest load that is only valid for a day and sometimes he doesn't get to buy this.

thanks. But really, I'm not expecting any rewards. I just think that he did the same for me back when I was studying for my board exam too. And this time, it's my turn to understand him.

hmm... I'm a nurse so I'm a complete idiot when it comes to engineering. All I can give him is some advice on how to deal with stress during times when studying seems so unbearable. And other tips to help him get through it all.

That is good that you want to lessen his stress well maybe you can tell him that you will understand if he will not be focus on you or in the relationship because he need to be more focus on his review and you are there for him to support him.

I have done that. It's kinda hard since I want some of his time too and I'm not used to not getting his attention LOL. I want to do something special for him but I'm not much of a romantic -sigh-

wow then you can talk and make him feel relaxed and chill him out,that is the best thing
