Whenever there is someone burning stuff, the wind always blows our way, so we get to inhale all that smoke.. that is just awful since they burn rubber and plastic sometimes. It is really hard to breathe..it's even worse than second-hand cigarette smoke. I hoe the wind will just blow on those burning the stuff.

Nice observation
. I myself had wondered about these things. I know they're coincidences, but sometimes it somewhat puzzles me that, like you just said, this doesn't happen to the person who created the smoke. Oh, well, I guess it'd be a mystery to us.

Just lucky. Not good for the lungs either. I am sure the smoke gets to those burning the stuff too. Sad as it is wind just blows. It is not intent one way or the other.

Yeah, if only i could control where the wind will blow.. then we'd definition have a smoke free house. Every single day, someone just burns paper, rubber, or whatever garbage they have and we get to inhale all of it.
There are even some nights that they do it.

I don't know but it's true most of the time. I already noticed that as a kid, always on the bike to school, highschool etc and always the wind against me. No matter if I went to school or went back home.. no matter what direction I took.

Hello,
I don't really want to talk about why the wind is always against us.
It's really harmful if you breathe the smoke from plastic or rubber fire, REALLY.
Your lungs can get bad or you can poison yourself, don't ever burn plastic or rubber because it's bad for both: the planet we live in and ourselves.
Happy mylotting!

One of my best friends was having a barbecue and picnic and her neighbor knew it but he threw his dog's, er, business in his burn barrel with his burning trash then drove away.. boy was she mad! And I thought that was very inconsiderate.
- People should not burn rubber or plastic!! Is there no trash service?

I've not noticed this, but whenever I notice someone is burning stuff, or fumes or smoke or dust is being omitted by workmen or whoever, I hold my breath until I'm out of the way. I may even close my eyes. The reason being I have very sensitive lungs, and so very careful of what I inhale. Maybe it's because I smoked for many years since a very young age. But I'm very cautious about what I breathe in. If I inhale something my lungs disagree with, I get the feeling they tighten: it may be at least partly psychological, I don't know, but my chest tends to tighten, and breathing can become laboured for a time; I may be imagining this I don't know. But I think each and every one of us should be careful of what we inhale. Not all fumes are safe. I even hold my breath when I pour shampoo out, and I only use a small amount. I guard my lungs ferociously.

I am sorry to hear this lady1993. Let me say that you are not alone in that predicament. My room is located directly in front of our kitchen and whenever someone is cooking or eating, all the smell would literally floods my room even if I had my door closed. I don't even know what to do with it.
