The return of Jack Wilshere...

One of the highlights of this weekend was the return to action of Jack Wilshere for Arsenal. Immediately he was bossing the midfield in a manner that was missing for Arsenal. Santi Cazorla was finding it better as his defensive duties reduced as Wilshere was taking that load. After the horrific injuries, it is good to see Wilshere coming back and still having the edge in his game. The other good news for Arsenal was the coming back of Sagna which gives some well needed rest to Jenkinson. What are you views on Arsenal's returning players? Cheers! Ram

Actually this is what Arsenal used to be in good old days. We score more than whatever others score. In those days it used to be fun to watch Arsenal!! Sadly those days have been long last (seven years and counting...) Cheers! Ram

It had been a long time and as an Arsenal fan, it is great to see Wilshere finally back playing. As a fan, we have been devoid of a star player that will get us excited again. So to see him back, it is almost like signing one. It is expected to see rustiness in his play but it was hardly noticeably. Hopefully he can quickly gain back his match fitness and return to the same player, if not better.

Yes, it is almost like a new player for Arsene Wenger. Before the key clash against Man United, this could be a news that could lift up the players. Cheers! Ram

The returning of Wilshere is just in time. I hope that Arsenal can do better and all the players will be able to stay in form. The most important is we don't want to see an impartial & stinky game displayed by a particular team like last week.

Wilshere looked like a breath of fresh air but I am sceptical as to whether is really good enough to make much of a difference on his own. I think Arsenal's main problem is that they are not clinical enough in front of goal. They don't lack creating chances but rarely convert any of them (ok,they scored 7 last night, but they seem to freeze during Premier League matches). I like Arsenal and Wenger -they play football the way it should be played and I hope they can recover some of their former glories. They have trouble finishing off games that they should win with ease -even against a poor 10-man QPR they nearly threw away their lead on Saturday towards the end. Wilshere is a great prospect -but I don't think he will be influential enough on his own.

Yes, I agree with your assessment. With Giroud still not firing at least not in the Premier League, it is making it difficult for Arsenal to score goals. Let's hope that this 7 goal blitz just starts are good run for the strikers. Cheers! Ram

Jack Wilshere is one of the talented young midfielder that Arsenal have produce. His passing, composure, and natural skills are superb. He is the man Arsenal needed the most right now because they need to add some touch in midfield. So, the return of Wilshere is good for the team, fans, and even for the player itself. Good job Wilshere!
