this year was a great halloween. everyone loved our costumes and we got lots of candy. we even got money, too. some people in our neighborhood were even handing out jello shots to the adults. after we came back, we watch a bunch of scary movies. in fact, we are still watching them now over some snacks and true blood....o positive. i didn't think the drink would taste like orange, since it's blood red. nevertheless, it's really good. you all should try it. i brought it online from amazon. i really had fun trick or treating with my daughter. my son and husband didn't want to go. they just stayed at home to pass out candy to the kids. this is one of the best halloweens i have ever had. i really had fun. this is my favorite time of year. how was your halloween?

I always dressed up and either went trick or treating with my kids or passed out candy. Last year I took 3 of my grand kids trick or treating, they had a great time but moved away this past summer. I have 2 more that live close but their parents took them this year. I don't get any trick or treaters here so there was no reason to dress up. I just spent the night watching scarey movies with my youngest son who says he's too old to trick or treat.

Lol, I've never heard of handing out Jell-O shots to adults on Halloween. I want to go trick or treating in your neighborhood! Glad you had fun with your family. I was a sick on Halloween so I was laying in bed with my silly dog.

Our Halloween was just as we like it, quiet! Ha, seriously we don't celebrate Halloween, and the tradition is more American, we weren't surprised to get no one knocking on our door trick or treating. I actually think it's like begging yes I know I sound like a misery, but yeah I agree it's fun for the kids, providing they are supervised when they go knocking on strangers doors. I am glad you enjoyed yours but I would share your son and husbands choice of staying in. I spent the evening catching up with my soaps and working on the computer, so no different from any other night.

sounds like fun. we didn't participate in Halloween much. i got some candy on sale yesterday which i will use for Christmas and my daughter dressed up for school but we didn't hand out candy and looking out on the streets, there were hardly any kids out there due to the rain (remnants from sandy) so my younger daughter (she doesn't like going out trick or treating) and i stayed in, watched tv and made fudge.

I wondered what the True Blood would taste like too. Now I know. Fun to try these things. Unique to have neighbors handing out jello shots to adults. Never heard of that before. My daughter and grandson went out in the neighborhood trick or treating for awhile lastnight. They enjoyed themselves.
