It is a massive day of racing in the USA with the Breeders Cup at Santa Anita.
Who do you think will win the big race and/or any of the others?
I fancy last year's winner St Nicholas Abbey to repeat last year's victory in the big one and retain the trophy for Ireland, but I am not ultra-confident!
I have more confidence in the superb Excelebration in the Breeders Cup Mile two races later.
As I live in the UK I don't know much about the US and other international horses but that is part of its fascination. The two horses I have mentioned have both been routed by surely the world's greatest ever horse - the might Frankel, now sadly retired to stud.
He would have eaten all of tonight's runners for breakfast!
What are your tips?

There are so many 'big ones' tonight! The one I meant was the Breeders Cup Turf but you are correct: the big one (purse-wise) is the Breeders Cup Classic, with your choice, the wonderfully named Game On Dude.
My first pick,St Nicholas Abbey, has just finished 3rd behind shock outsider Little Mike and favourite, Point of Entry. My main hope though is Excelebration in the Breeders Cup Mile.
I might have to record the Classic as it is at 00:35 (GMT) and I have not been feeling too well so an early-ish night for me,but I will cheer on Game on Dude....promise!

I'm not much of a horse racing person nor am I a gambler. But reading your post took me back to early '80s when I lived in Arcadia, only few miles from Santa Anita Racing Park. Santa Anita Mall is right across from the Park and I frequented that place a lot since it was the closest mall from my place.
I live in a big horse racing country now. In fact, Tuesday will be the day of 'The Race that Stops a Nation' or, as you may know, Melbourne Cup. I heard the favorite is still Americain, an American-bred French trained thoroughbred race horse who won in 2010. People here will go crazy with betting that day; and on top of that, the Lottery Jackpot here will also reach a record of 100 million on Tuesday!
