Houston Rockets has won 2 games so far. James Harden, who was traded by Oklahoma City Thunder before the opening of regular season, average 30 plus points. He is blending well with Jeremy Lin. Former Knick Lin (Linsanity) was sign as free agent last summer by Rockets. Its too early for the rockets. Can you consider them contender for the NBA playoff 2012-13?

They will surely be in the playoffs. I can bet on that. The trade helped them grow and develop to be prime time players in the nba. They had a good start to their careers. And they can make the rockets a contender in the west. It's good for James Harden so that he can develop to be a great all star player. He can then be a go-to-guy. With Westbrook and Durant back in OKC, he might be unnoticed because of the two more popular superstars.

Though they got a good start now but the season is too long and still have many games left. I think they are a good team but among the West, it would take very hard work to get into the eighth spot. They still have to prove that they are really good. For me, the Rockets had the upperhand of the deal but they're still young. When the magic of Linsanity starts working again plus the explosiveness of Harden, maybe we could get to see them in the playoffs.

I don't consider Houston Rockets as a play-off team. It's too early to decide who makes it or not because some team are still being sleepy-headed. The players aren't playing as a team yet and for Houston Rockets, they are having a good start, they are a young team and experience might just be what matters to reach the play-offs.
