As you know (some of you) about Sandy it has been a troublesome time, we didn't get many groceries after the storm hit cause although we had power and some gas the grocery stores weren't totally stocked yet with things like eggs, dairy, frozen items, and that sort of thing. But today we went to one grocery store and the dollar stores again. Woohoo, we haz eggs! :-) I never thought I'd be so ever grateful to get them again. Alot of the dairy products and frozen foods were also re-stocked today at Shop Rite. Milk shortage there for some reason but 711 had plenty. I sooo wanna go and volunteeer to try to help the less fortunates somehow somewhere this week~

I am glad to hear that SHop Rite has been restocked. I feel so badly for people who were victims of Sandy's Super Storm. They say that Red Cross has organized some help in the hospitals and other such places. I wonder if you went to their website(www.redcross.org) you could find an area that you could help.

I know and it wasn't even something common to be so bad in NJ, but NY has had some kinds of storms before although nothing this bad as far as I can remember for awhile. Even in places where no storms like this happen I worry that it will someday. My internet friend in England said these things never happen there either. I jokingly said that I was moving there. Ha, only I wish!

This is very common here in our country whenever disaster strikes- food shortage and price increase of primary necessities.
Hope everyone is fine your area.

Everything is getting back to normal here slowly but alot are still out of power and no lights and such. A good internet friend of mine stayed with her son for awhile, then one friend with no hot water and then another friend finally where she got to take a hot shower after over a week.
