Revolution , are you watching it?

I enjoy the show but find the premise quite impossible. I'm sure they will come up with some kind of explanation at some point about how someone was able to make it so that electricity no longer works. What many viewers don't seem to understand is that it is not like a power outage were many power plants fail or something. It is presented that electricity is somehow made to quit working all over the world; that is batteries don't work or anything which means that apparently electrons can no longer flow. This would have far more disastrous effects than even what they have shown. The human body would be affected for one thing. So although the show is typically listed as Science Fiction, it is more like bad SyFy or Fantasy as far as believability goes. But the writing is good and the characters are interesting; so it is enjoyable to watch.

I agree with the first poster and hope they resolve at least 1 of the story lines this season. This is one of the new shows that appears to be doing well enough that we could see a second season. I do like the cast.

Yes I watch this show. I love it so far. It's very interesting. It's also very similar to an older tv series called Jericho. It's going to depend on what they have in mind for the long term plot whether it has enough potential to last more than one or two seasons. But right now, I think you are probably right. Then again, it is rare anymore for shows to last anyway. It seems many of my favorite shows get cancelled after half a season or at the end of the first season. And if they do have a continuing story line, it is frustrating to have them end without a conclusion. Right now, the mystery about why Charley and Danny's mother is with Monroe is curious...why she went to them and turned herself in in the first place is a mystery. Then now we find out that there are a total of 12 of the medallion flash drive things out there. We know where 2 of them are...or at least for sure we know where one is and possibly the second one. So where are the other 10 and what do they have to do with all of this? Then the third mystery is all about Miles and Monroe--how Miles was the first one who wanted to do something about all the rampant violence but Monroe wanted to ignore it and keep moving. But then they teamed up together to form the militia, and I think originally Miles wanted it to be a good thing...so how did it get so twisted and why did Miles leave...and why do they want him back so badly? So those three mysteries alone could keep this going for awhile...if the network doesn't just up and cancel it like they often do.

Well, between you Mylotters friends, I have heard a lot about this spectacle called "Revolution". My only regret is that probably it will never be transmitted in Italy! A real shame to me that now I had taken a liking to see the American television broadcasts. However, I continue to hope ... maybe in a few years .. who knows?
