Several books have been published as a result of popular blogs. "The Book of Awesome" and "Sh*t My Dad Says" are just two of them. There is no reason why you can't publish work online in a book. Actually, nowadays most books (novels) are published in e-book form before being paper printed. It's your work and you can do whatever you want with it. You own the copyright, even when published on another site.

Reading their FAQ, I don't see any restrictions on the author to republish what they wrote. But even then, the stuff in your book may need to be rewritten a little bit otherwise readers won't be motivated to buy.

Hi ifa!
I think it should be possible to publish a book consisting of your articles. You just need to find out a reliable publishers who is ready to publish your book and could pay you for it.
Also try to access who would be your likely target readers, so that you could convince the publisher.
All the best.

Hi ifa
Well, I think you can do that. Though many a times there are limitations or rules that you cannot make a profit out of such an action and also you might need to mention the related urls as might be necessary to make away from legal complications.
I think you should check out the rules, guides and other legal materials on Shvoong or any other site for that matter, in case you want to write the book and make some profit from it. Staying safer is always better than falling into traps later.
