Talk about wtf... http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2012/11/12/15 I hope that link works. If not here's the scoop. A Texas woman Khandi Busby threw her sons 6 and 8 off the I-30 freeway and then she jumped. This was in 2008. All three survived (thank God) and was found not guilty by reason of insanity. She has been in a mental hospital since and she has been determined well enough to be released. She has to live in a boarding house and cannot have contact with her children. Jaw dropper. Off the freeway...wtf is right.

Do you ever recover from such an illness? I wonder what her kids are feeling about their mother's release? I hope this mother continues to get the help she needs to prevent her from doing harm to herself or others. The siuation is so sad.

It's so startling... I mean, didn't her environment see the signs of her getting insane? It's so good that the kids survived...

I don't rmemeber hearing this story. I tried your link and it didn't work. Anyway this woman has some mental problems but I am sure she is not "cured"! I will never understand why someone would do such a thing! I hope she is never allowed to see her children again! I hope she ends up back in a mental hospital for life! I could see her doing sonething crazy like this again if she ever gets hold of her kids again!

If she's proven guilty by the time she did the account that is excusable. Good thing, the kids survive. But, is she really is in good state to be released?

Unfortunately, I could not open the link...but I don't remember hearing about this in the news. BUT this is terrible...I don't know if thats enough time to be determined well enough to be released..but I am not a doctor so I guess they know their job...But if she is well enough to be released but can't see her own children, why should she be released to possibly have in contact with other childre, even if just in passing on the street...now thats a WTF to me...

OMG I can not understand what would make a woman(or any parent man or woman for that matter) want to kill their own flesh & blood. Of course she had to be insane to do what she did, but I definitely agree with her having nothing to do with her children ever again. I mean if she snapped once whose to say she wouldn't snap again? I swear this whole world is going crazy one by one.
