Got a brand new laptop...I am thrilled !!!

It was a great diwali for me here. It was a brand new laptop this time. My old laptop was a gift for a diwali too. This was a gift too. Both were given by dad. We were about to but a TV but dad said laptop is more important for u and got me that. I am going to get them their TV this new year though as a surprise from my end. Now for the laptopt, it was a HP DV6 7040 TX series laptop. It was an i7 3rd gen, 740 GB HDD, 8 GB RAM, 2 GB Dedicated graphics card, Beats four speakers with sub woofer and Windows 7. It has an upgrade to Windows 8 but i didn't like Windows 8 yet. It has some more cool softwares with all latest ports. Please share your thoughts whether it is a good choice or not. It was 60000 INR.

yes i think your dad gave you a good suggestion and your new laptop is a good one...anyway as regards windows 8 in reality if you don't feel necessary right now to upgrade because you find pretty good with 7 you can wait and consider in the future to upgrade or not in reality upgrading your windows os is not so necessary in many cases if it won't be give features that you need now!!

Wow! That's great. I would like to buy a new laptop as well. It's just that I have more important things to buys other than that. You made the decision of buying that laptop. Although of course I wouldn't completely say that because we don't have any otyher item to compare it with.

Definitely it's a very good choice.I also have an laptop of HP g series.HP laptops are very reliable...

It is great for you. Wow!, that laptop is best! So, now you can log in everyday to make a lot of discussions and comments here at mylot. LOL!
How I wish I have a laptop like your laptop, my husband has and I used to brought it with me for my schooling but too slow need to upgrade.
