Have you ever felt that you are not actually living?

Have you ever felt that nothing that happens is enough interesting, enough juicy, enough to make you feel that you are actually living? Like you are on stand-by and expect something that never comes, an impulse to make the things move again? Like you senses are not functional anymore, and you are not actually smell, taste, see, hear? Like you are just a walking corps, a lifeless body? And all this not because your life is actually boring, but no matter what happens you can't stop feeling like this, you always want more...

This is a nice topic spicymary. When we are so much down, feeling so sad, we actually feel this that we are actually not living. It is just like we do things as routine and there is a certain emptiness inside us. It is like we are numb and floating in this world. I wonder why you had posted this topic. If you're feeling down and troubled, I hope you'll feel okay soon. Keep on sharing here. Maybe we could help by just "listening" or maybe we could tell something to lighten your burdens. Welcome to myLot too! I hope you will be around more here.

Thank you! :) I sometimes have this feeling, for a few hours or days and it always reappers. I can't say it's terribly bothering me, I'm more intrigued, because I can't find rational reasons for it. And I was curious to know if I am the only one or not. It can be also rewarding, like constructive stress, because I try hard to avoid routine and to find intensity (just not to suffocate myself). It can complicate life (sometimes not in a good way), but also can give you a feeling of accomplishment.

I don't like having a routine too. What I do in a day are almost the same but I try to alternate each because I don't want to feel robotic or feel monotonous. Feeling monotonous is like just doing things without feeling it. It seems that time is just passing by without nothing. There seems to be an emptiness inside us that we don't know why sometimes. Maybe, what we need is a little diversion even once in a while to break from this unknown feeling.

Yes many times i felt what you said here , it's a killing thing , but believe me . there really a day that something or someone will bring a spark into your life just pray for that. Just like this Mylot , it helps my life makes sense. Work is monotonous and this Mylot seems to break that monotony. This gives me inspiration to interact different people across the globe at same time i am earning also. So come kick off that bad feeling , write all your angst and happiness in life then share it to us.. Happy Monday friend. always wear that smile in your face ...God bless !

I'm happy for you that mylot helped you to feel better and share your thoughts. I found the site searching for ways to make money and I discovered after that is really bad way to earn something, but a great way to debate things and interract with different people. Still, I am curious if in the case of people that share the feeling I talked about, it's just about some spark in their lives that doesn't come, or ir just in their head, and no matter what they do, they will still feel it. I can't say I have a boring life, or that I have many frustrations, but this feeling just strikes me sometimes, like a panic attack. It's not reasonable, doesn't have visible causes, but you simply can't avoid it.

Well, you know, I am one of those people, for years, waiting for something positive in my life, maybe it will never happen! In the sense that, to begin with I am at the age of 37 years (and there are many!) without work! My family economic situation, it is almost dramatic. Not a month goes by that we can get the money. This is due to the fact that the price of "things" and taxes are increased exponentially and in my family we can rely only on economic incomes of my parents. of this revenue, we must live in 4! That said so much to tell you, staying on topic with your discussion, I seem to be living a life apparently useless! What can I do to make things go better? I feel so helpless! However it is said that HOPE is the last to die!

I'm sorry to hear that... You certainly should not lose hope. The solution for your problem depends on many things (like what are your skills, the economy of your country, your emotional status), but if you focus and gain confidence things will turn out better. :) If you touched the bottom line and feel you have nothing to lose anymore, you can only grow.
